About Me

Full Disclosure: I have two beautiful boys, ages 3.5 and 1.5, and I'd be lying if I tried to say I'm not looking for someone who will end up loving them as much as he loves me (eventually). But you and I would have to get pretty serious for you to even meet my little dudes, so no need to freak out just yet. I realize 95% of you can't fathom fatherhood in the near, or even distant, future so my expectations have been adjusted accordingly. It's more important to find someone who fits ME and we can worry about everything else later. Another detail I should share is my divorce is not finalized yet - this takes an exceptionally long time when children are involved. And, I'm pissed meetville made me pick only one of those words to describe myself. I'm so many of those things: hedonist, hopeless romantic, crafty, foodie, traveler, the list goes on...Now that we have that part out of the way... I guess the most important thing about me, and something that I hope sets me apart from other women you might meet, is I am proud of who I am, and I'm not embarrassed to be myself. I'm comfortable in my own skin and I love to have fun and be silly. I'm confident in my beliefs and I rarely second guess my decisions once they're made. I'm a strong, independent, successful woman. I don't need a man to take care OF me, but I sure would love one who will care ABOUT me and is excited to share a life together.I'll try just about anything, as long as it doesn't endanger my bank account or my health. I guess I'm a calculated risk taker. I won't ever sky-dive. I'll try most foods at least once, but I draw the line at live animals. Dead ones are usually pretty awesome. I love going to new places, world-wide. If I bothered to make a bucket list, it would be way too long. So when the opportunity strikes, I take advantage. I'm not the kind of mom who won't travel without the kids, so romantic getaways are still in the cards, along with fun family trips.I'm a Research Biologist in big pharma and I moved here with work. I lived in the 'burbs outside Philly for 10 years before moving here, and what a difference! I love city living. My street has a sort of 50's neighborhood vibe, everyone is friendly. We put each other's trash cans away on pick-up day, and shovel the older woman's sidewalk across the street. It's a real community and I think that's missing from most people's lives now.I'm looking for someone genuine, who's not perfect but really tries his best, who's not selfish and is empathetic. It would be nice to find someone adventurous, but it's okay (probably preferable) if you don't base jump.

Looking for: man. In age: 31-41

I am a high school teacher and coach and an explorer at heart. I enjoy an active lifestyle and participate in a lot of adult league sports. I love to travel, anything outdoors, and enjoy staying in to watch a movie. I love surprises and adventure! I am very independant, own my home and have worked hard for everything I have. I tend to be straight to the point and speak sarcasm fluently, sometimes a deadly combination. I tend to be the life of the party, and I am pretty sure this is the only place I have every really admitted that. I love to have a great time! I smile contantly and am easily amused. I like the simple things in life and get more excited over a ride up to the mountains than a fancy dinner out somewhere. I have a motorcycle that I like to take up the seacoast on warm afternoons. Something about the sea air is so refreshing. I also love to explore the beachside for seaglass and to stick my toes in the water...and maybe even chase after a crab. Im not afraid to get my hands dirty which is why I enjoy everything in the outdoors.I am an out of the box thinker and like to think of myself as quite unique. I have a passion for working out at the gym and have run in 12 road races since last new year. Its a new passion of mine...not the running, I hate running, but the competition with myself to go the distance. Playing basketball is my favorite...so bring it!I play in many adult leagues (softball and basketball) and frequent the gym on a almost daily basis. I try to eat healthy...but then remember that you only live once. But I do make an effort!I consider myself to be very unique, my friends keep saying I'm a "catch"....well, we will see! Let's take an adventure... I keep saying I will walk the whole thing, and have yet to do it. If you'd like to meet for a coffee and see where it goes...that is fine too.

I like driving and travelling. I'm in the process of getting my motorcycle license. I'm on the spontanious side, since plans don't usually work out. I will do almost anything, although i might need a push. I like all music- rock, alternative and new country are preferences. I like going to concerts, sporting events, theater - i think everything is better live. I think an activity on the first date is a good option. A street festival or mini golf.

Hmm my goals and aspirations? To find a nice, normal guy who doesn't creep me out, make me sick, or annoy the *** outta me. I wish I was funny, then I could insert funny line here. I'm relatively boring, a homebody, but I do like the beach, and dogs. If you wanna know about me, ask about me. Unless you don't know the difference between you're and your, or you think dat is a word, in which case, just skip me. By the way, this dating bullsh*% sucks. Dudes, just be honest about what you want, you just might get it. I hate liars and a*&holes. I'd say no douche bags, but that would be asking way too much. And one more thing, no offense meant, but I'm not interested in black guys. So, don't waste your time or mine. Skinny dipping
