So many times a profile starts with "where should i begin? Oh i know! The beginning!" I am not a fan of living in the past and would much prefer to focus on my future. Which could involve you! I was amused by the lights and sirens and wanted to be just as cool. Then I saw my first TV commercial and it was for the DeVry *** a gigantic lightbulb and I had to go there and become a lightbulb! My parents always taught me to have a backup plan so, in realizing how crazy my ambitions were, I ended up with a degree at the U of A in psychology. I love my education, I love applying it and I love learning more about it. I am a single mom who is looking forward to sharing my independance with someone. I love my son and he will always come first, no matter what activity or project or hug or cuddle he needs. But as he's getting older it's time to focus a little more on me! I'm not clingy, i'm passionate. I'm not dramatic, I'm outgoing. I'm not demanding, i'm feisty. I'm not shallow, i'm confident. And I really love the thesaurus I got for Christmas ;) My son is turning 10 and he has a father in his life. I'm looking for someone for me. Someone who can keep up and slow me down. Someone who doesn't mind that I can't drop my life at any given moment but will give you my world when I can. I am fiercely loyal and love committment but don't mind casually working my way to that path. I am an intense football fan. I am passionate while watching and very much into the games. So please check your embarrassment and shame at the front gate if you come with me ;) If you're not passionate about sports and/or a team, you're missin' out! If you need me, you can find me dancing along the sidelines at my son's games, unapologetically being one of those "football moms," which is getting better as my son has informed me that now that i play the game, I may occasionally be "right" when yelling from the sidelines! I read. A lot. You can always find me curled up in front of my fireplace or stretched out on my patio, lost in the world of literature. Fiction, non-fiction, i'm a fan of it all. Inspire me to find a new author or subject to get lost in...I dare you! anything that would allow us to talk!

There are two kinds of people; 1, people who just stare when someone falls down and 2, people who help that person up and ask if they are ok...how would you describe yourself?I have recently found a new love of vegetable gardening and baking bread. I can spend hours working in my garden on a nice sunny day, this is usually followed by a picnic lunch with a nice cold beer (or 2).I like to laugh, not at people, except maybe if they are laughing too and at myself, of course, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? I think life has enough drama without creating more so I try to steer clear of people that create their own drama. I don't usually go out clubbing anymore, but I do love to dance so won't say no to going out. I can usually be found dancing around my living room with the volume cranked up...So good!I love quiet weekends away at the cabin with good friends, away from the noise of the city; and camping. Who doesn't like eating burgers, sleeping in tents, swimming and getting dirty?? I have good friends, I don't think we need to be surrounded by a bunch of people we don't know very well just to say we know people. My family is awesome, lots of sibs and my parents are pretty neat too. Every time I talk to my grandpa (which is often), who is 86, I learn something new. I would like to meet someone who is laid back and easy to talk to. Who enjoys life and laughing and eating...I love food and trying new things and you should too. I will be honest with you and I would appreciate the same in return. I won't necessarily respond to you if all you write is "hey", I'm sure you can come up with something better than that! Ask me a question and I'll definitely answer. I don't really like people who are mean...everyone needs to vent sometimes but saying mean things just for the sake of it doesn't fly. AND it doesn't matter what size your penis is (so don't tell me. I don't care.) if you don't have a brain to back up it.Good luck in finding someone to laugh with! First date? I love to sing or dance to a good love song and look into my partners eyes and lay my head on their shoulder while we dance and maybe even a gentle kiss after the dance would be nice.
