I'm happy with who I am! I feel blessed with eternal youth, both inside and out. I consider myself confident, self-assured,(maybe to a fault I've been told), open minded, intelligent, independent, and passionate. I prefer to handle anything that comes my way head on. I've been told I have a vibrant personality, quick witted and have a great sense of humor, I'm definitely not shy. I also have a soft, gentle side; dependable, compassionate, honest and loyal to those in my life. Unfortunately people's perception of themselves is often not who they really are, but who they 'think" or "wish" they could be. As I've done my best to describe myself...I've actually used adjectives that have been used to describe me by others. My favorite "UNIQUE" Oh...I've also been called a "bi#ch" LOL, but not often!I was raised in NY...that may say a lot about me LOL.I'm an ex national athlete, hard work and dedication is in my blood. Of course I'm competitive, an attribute that has served me well. I've learned first hand what it takes to succeed and overcome the most difficult situations. When it comes to men, I don't have a "type". It will depend on your initial contact and photo. Creativity and sincerity sparks my interest, with a bit of humor that shows a side of your personality! Easy enough :) I have three adult children, they mean the world to me, but as each has ventured off to explore life for themselves, it's time for me to start my own adventure. I choose to live each day, laughing, living, and making memories. Now... I'm looking for that "unique" man that can share in all those memories yet to be made.
