I'm an independent lady. I have my feet on the ground and a wonderful family and fantastic friends to support me. I have dreams of owning my own business(s) in the next five years. I did a lot of soul searching & learning in my 20's and I'm ready to focus on my future. I would like to meet someone that knows who they are and likes to try new things. I love to cook and to drink red wine...both at the same time works as well! I love all kinds of music from rap & hip hop to alternative country; seriously every kind, with a special place for The Grateful Dead.Side note/disclaimer/what have you: I have been on this site before and met some cool people. I'm not looking for someone whose profile is not at all who they are. I think it's a pretty true sentiment that, at times, one's self-perception is quite a bit askew from reality. I'm a painfully honest woman who trusts her ***, so please don't try to bs me. It's a fairly ridiculous move to try to start a new relationship with someone based on lies. I'm always up for a new adventure.

Funny, sarcastic, all American girl looking for her all American football guy. I am happy in my career, friends and family circles are amazing and I am always pushing myself each day at CrossFit. I love lazy Sundays flipping between games. I am all about getting lost on a car adventure and not caring where we end up, as long as we have a great time. I just need someone to be my partner in crime to see what fall brings. I am drawn to guys who are on the above average size, hence the all American football guy. But I won't count out hockey guys as well. I love to feel small when being hugged and cuddling with someone that size just makes me feel safe. I miss having someone to hold hands with. It's the simple things really.... Holding hands, cuddling on the couch, having a partner in crime on the weekends to try new and exciting things. I don't think I am asking too much but he has certainly been hard to find. Fall is the best time to start something new..... Maybe you are just the guy to par take in the adventure.Disclaimer: Do not message me if: You are looking for a threesome Want to cum for me on *** a date and not show and then delete all communications. Those things and more have happened recently. Grow up and be classy. I have no time for games nor am I a whore. Sorry, just had to make things clear.

I'm a VA girl who relocated to the DC area for the first time about 1.5 years ago -- I think that still qualifies me as a newcomer -- At 35, I have a successful career, a wonderful family and a close circle of girlfriends. I’m looking for a man who shares some of my interests, but can also bring something totally new to my life. Someone to complement me, rather than complete me.I’m pretty outspoken, I love to talk and listen and I’ll tell you what I really think. Witty banter is of the utmost importance in a relationship, as is honesty, kindness, friendship, compromise, shared sense of humor (I’m funny, but I can’t tell a joke to save my life) and the occasional spirited debate. I love kids and would have no problem dating a single parent. I'm outgoing and social, but I need time alone to recharge. I'm independent, and am perfectly comfortable going out to dinner or a movie by myself. My job is very important to me but sometimes I struggle with finding a balance between work and play. I'm not perfect, and I don't expect you to be either...just be sincere and real. More about me...I was raised as a military brat and grew up all over the world, having called Central America, Korea and Germany home. I love the sense of adventure that travel brings and I’m always willing to try new things.I can be kind of a dork at times...I love Jeopardy, Trivial Pursuit and other board games, and visiting museums and historical sites (think I could find a couple around here?) Having lived through the Saints' Superbowl season in NOLA, I have become a football fan although I must admit, I'm still trying to figure out the game! We meet for brunch (great excuse to have a drink before noon) and then spend some time exploring one of DC's museums, historical sites or parks. Or maybe we just go to IKEA -- seriously, if you can assemble some particle board Swedish furniture using only pictures without killing each other, it's a good sign.
