About Me

If you read what I had up here previously, it was pretty much the exact opposite of my personality. My partner and I were bored at work so we made joke profiles. I could write several paragraphs describing myself, but I'm sure when most people see the length of this section they'll just skip it, as I usually do if I'm just browsing through profiles. So ***'ll make a list covering the basics. I'm not easily offended but I expect to be treated with respect. Feel free to ask me anything you want to know, but be warned I can sometimes reply with more than you wanted to know. 1. I'm a strong, smart, sexy, and independent woman. Scary, I know.2. I have full custody of 3 kids who are with me >90% they aren't at school or daycare. The oldest and youngest are ADHD, and my middle one has some developmental delays/emotional issues. My kids are my life and I wouldn't change it for anything.3. I don't do clingy or dependent. I have a life and already take care of 3 kids ***animals). I'm not going to take care of you too. You're an adult, and should be able to take care of yourself.4. I'm an EMT, work ***hours a week in 4 days, and in the summer I pick up a few security gigs here and there. I also teach CPR.5. I lead my daughter's Girl Scout troop.6. I'm in school to continue on to get my paramedic certification.7. I have a dog and three cats, plus a fish. I love all animals and bugs don't bother me. In fact, snakes are cool and spiders get rid of flies. I just don't care for bees or wasps since I'm allergic to their stings. Oh yea, and mosquitos eat me alive and then I scratch the bite til it bleeds. :-P8. I'm a smartass. I have a twisted sense of humor but don't want to offend anyone with it at the same time. 9. I'm easy-going. I don't get worked up or stressed out over little things and I don't freak out. 10. I HATE DRAMA AND GAMES AND BULLSHIT. ***My life is free of all this. I plan on keeping it that way.11. My only marriage was abusive. I don't want pity or sympathy. It happened. Its over. I'm happy now and learned what I really want in a relationship from now on. In fact, I'm even happy I went through it because it taught me a lot about myself and relationships/marriage.12. I'm open-minded, respectful & tolerant of other's opinions, and expect the same in return. I enjoy conversations about anything, especially when we can express our views & opinions without getting offended or trying to change each other's minds about the subject.13. I'm a tomboy. I also dress up real nice too :)14. I'm not looking to get into a serious relationship right off the bat. I'm going to take my time to get to know you first. 15. I'm a very busy person. I'm not going to rush into things either. If you're really interested, you'll understand and have patience until I'm free to hang out or go on a date or whatever. 16. My ideal relationship is with someone who is independent and has their own life, can take care of themself, and doesn't require my opinion for every little thing. I want to share my life with someone and be part of theirs, but not joined at the hip.If reading this hasn't scared you off, then thanks for being interested. Hope to hear from you soon. Doctor Who and Torchwood are my faves, followed closely by Sherlock and Downton Abby.Right now I have been listening to a lot of podcasts. My favs right now are The Nerdist, The After Disaster, Sex Nerd Sandra, You Made It Weird, The Film Vault, Comedy Film Nerds, How Did This Get Made, and Doug Loves Movies. 90's rock is my favorite music, but I also like rock, some rap/r&B, and country. I will listen to almost anything really.Things I am looking for in a man:Must be a nerd/geek, or be able to tolerate and respect that I am one...I will not change or hide this for anyone.Must be intelligent. By this I do not mean that you have to have a college degree, but I do enjoy having intelligent discussions about a variety of things.Must be able to be goofy, laugh, and in general have fun...I do not want someone that takes EVERYTHING seriously. Yes, there are things in life that we must be serious about, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun doing them.Must have a job and car. I have these myself, and I will not be the one to financially support a relationship. I am not looking for someone to support me, I am looking for someone to be a partner/equal in a relationship.
