I enjoy a variety of activities from rock climbing to watching a movie. I have an open mind and like to try new things. I am very much an extrovert and like getting out and about. I have a career and stand on my own two feet. I am a single mom of three and thought I'd give this site a try as a way to meet new people. Dinner and drinks, or just meet for drinks somewhere to chat and see if we have any common interests.

Hi! I am a Christian who is seeking to glorify God--meaning that my lifestyle choices are shaped by God's *** believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that Christ was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead so that anyone who believes can be reconciled to God. I do have high standards/morals for myself, and I attend church regularly--not because I think I need to work my way to Heaven, but because church is a place where I am taught from the Word and encouraged by a community of fellow believers. Also, it's really important for me to be with someone who has very similar religious beliefs. I teach English to the older kiddos, and yes, I have the best job. My students are so much fun, and they definitely know how to make me laugh! Seriously, it's pretty much my dream job. I'm also really into music. I play french horn and piano. And being the English/music girl that I am, I love plays, musicals, and concerts. I also like sporting events! I haven't been to a Thunder game yet, but I've seen the Oilers and the Drillers play. And I might have a crush on Roger Federer, but he's taken. Sigh.I am training for a 15K in October. Signing up for these crazy races keeps me going. I've also dabbled in yoga and pilates. I like to be healthy, so I take vitamins and try to buy organic food as much as possible; but I still love ice cream and dark chocolate!I am a content person. I don't feel as if I need a man to be happy, but I think that having a man in my life would be quite lovely :) I have food, clothing, and shelter; and I have loving people in my life. So far, I've lived in some wonderful places, have met very loving people, and have learned much along the way. Do you remember Eeyore? I'm not like Eeyore--that whole woe-is-me attitude gets on my nerves.I appreciate a man who is passionate about life, knows what he believes and why he believes it, treats others as if they're made in the image of God (because they are), and knows how to laugh and have fun :) It's unfortunate that responsible guys are underrated. They're definitely not in my book! You can have fun yet still be a grown up. Bonus points for readers and grammarians :) It's always a good idea to do something that encourages conversation. I think first dates should be very low-pressure--both parties should laugh quite a bit.

As children we always imagine what life will be like when we're all grown up. It rarely turns out that way, but in some ways that's a good thing. Life without some adventure would just be boring.I'm a writer and have been most of my life, which means my very nature makes me a wallflower, a sideliner. I've was the foundation and rock for so long I would love to find a life partner who would be a rock in the storm of life for me; someone willing to remind me life is meant to be lived. That life is supposed to be filled with love. I grew up with a wonderful imagination, one that helps daily; one that would have me daydreaming in class. I took risks and wound up with the broken bones and scars to prove it. Though it did make me become more cautious. So *** rock climbing I content myself with camping and hiking.I wasn't your average girl as a child and I'm still not as an adult. I am the black sheep of my family, something I take a dark type of pride in. I know, I'm weird.I don't like liars and can be stubborn. It took a lot of time but I love myself for who I am-faults and all-and refuse to have that taken from me.I don't have children other than my four legged ones (one dog and more than one cat). They keep me on my toes, literally. They either want to play, go for a walk or are lying across my keyboard so I can't work.I love books. I love for the written word it something I gained from my mother. I guess after a couple broken bones and several hundred stitches (not all at once) she wanted me to have my adventures in another way. That love has never left, even when I manage to go camping or go on vacation I always have several books with me.There are times when I like to be around people, mostly I'm a happy, shy homebody and content to simply be. But life is more than living on the sidelines as wallflowers like me tend to do; it's about being in the middle of the journey and being the center. I can fight, I need a knight willing to get off the horse and hand me an extra sword so we can take on the world as partners.(I don't currently have a car due to a car accident, hope to have it back soon!
