I seek a natural high by enjoying outdoor activities, many of which involve speed. I am happy to try almost anything that brings happiness and a sense of accomplishment. I take a great deal of pleasure in skiing and would love to find someone who shares my passion. I recently went backpacking in South America and it was such an incredible experience that I would like to plan a trip annually. I worked as a Paramedic for 6yrs and thoroughly enjoy the medical field, which has led me to UBC-O Nursing. I have grand intentions to do some post-grad research that leads me in the direction of running my own clinic. I would also like to get involved with global volunteering. I am confident, comfortable and have a positive attitude. I can be silly and would like to meet someone with a great sense of humour. I play the flute and piccolo, although I haven't been playing much lately. I also have an electric piano that I would love to learn how to play. I have a tendency of taking on more than I have time to handle.I appreciate almost all music genres. Most often I flip between classic rock and top 40; anything that's fun. I enjoy singing and dancing although I can admit a serious lack of talent. I think I might actually take dance lessons this year. I would be up for anything on the first date, but it would be ideal to have some fun and do something that allows us to truly see the other person. I would enjoy meeting up at The Crux or heading for the trails either on foot or two wheels. Unfortunately, I don't have access to my motorcycle, but I am licenced. Between the chairlift and the 'après-ski' we could get to know each other quite well. I am a bit of a 'foodie' so whether I'm cooking at home or headed to a great restaurant, we could definitely bond over tasty food and a bottle of wine.

Please Read: If you are just getting out of a relationship or marriage, pass me up. I refuse to go for round 4 of bad timing! A little about me... First off, I did everything backwards as a teen and young adult, however, I wouldn't change it for the world. I learned from it, and became a better parent to my children than mine was to me. I'm a single mom to three amazing and wonderful daughters. I had them at a very young age as my youngest is 10. I've never been married and am content being single. There are a lot of people who have and are going to judge me because of it, but that only makes me stronger and pushes me to go further so keep judging :). I'm also not the kind of person who had kids and plans to live off of your taxes for the rest of my life.. I am educated, I have a great job, own my own home and car, pay my taxes :), and am a great mom to my girls. I'm not perfect and will never portray to be, however, I have a huge heart and am ready to let someone else in it if they are the right person. Hmmm... This depends on the person. Something we mutually agree on.
