About Me

I have succeeded in accomplishing one of my major goals by getting my 4-year degree before I was 30. Now, I can move on to the next chapter in my life. I love to learn and grow as an individual. I also like helping my friends and will do anything I can to support them. My family is an extension of me. My mom is my best friend and I can talk to her about anything. I'm extremely close to her and spend most of my weekend time hanging out with her and helping her in any way I can. I recently began attending church and it's been the most rewarding choice I've made. I'm also considering going back to school and working on my Master's degree. Somewhere out there is a great guy who will not only want to introduce me to new things, but will also like to try some adventures that are new to both of us. The man I would like to meet is confident and self assured, but isn't**** with an over-inflated ego. I am looking for a guy who can keep me on my toes both when it comes to intellect and energy.     I seek a natural high by enjoying outdoor activities, many of which involve speed. I am happy to try almost anything that brings happiness and a sense of accomplishment. I take a great deal of pleasure in skiing and would love to find someone who shares my passion. I recently went backpacking in South America and it was such an incredible experience that I would like to plan a trip annually. I worked as a Paramedic for 6yrs and thoroughly enjoy the medical field, which has led me to UBC-O Nursing. I am confident, comfortable and have a positive attitude. I can be silly and would like to meet someone with a great sense of humour. I play the flute and piccolo, although I haven't been playing much lately. I also have an electric piano that I would love to learn how to play. I have a tendency of taking on more than I have time to handle.I appreciate almost all music genres. Most often I flip between classic rock and top 40; anything that's fun. I enjoy singing and dancing although I can admit a serious lack of talent. I think I might actually take dance lessons this year. I would be up for anything on the first date, but it would be ideal to have some fun and do something that allows us to truly see the other person. I would enjoy meeting up at The Crux or heading for the trails either on foot or two wheels. Unfortunately, I don't have access to my motorcycle, but I am licenced. Between the chairlift and the 'après-ski' we could get to know each other quite well. I am a bit of a 'foodie' so whether I'm cooking at home or headed to a great restaurant, we could definitely bond over tasty food and a bottle of wine.
