About Me

I am a 53 year old female who enjoys a variety of interests. I can be just as happy at home watching a movie as going out for a casual dinner and listening to some music. I enjoy being outdoors. I love to bike ride on paved trails. I am not a professional biker, but I love just getting out and enjoying the freedom of riding for fun and just cruising. I go to the gym about 3 times a week. I enjoy it because it makes me feel stronger and gives me a feeling of accomplishment. A lot of my time is taken up with work. I work in education, which I love, but the amount of work is never ending. It is more of a way of life than a job. I have been in this field for 28 years. The challenges never cease. I like that, but it can be stressful, as well. I have an old dog who I love. Dogs are faithful companions and the only creatures who I truly believe give unconditional love. She will be a part of my life until she is no longer around. I love her even though, she is just an old beagle and not impressive in any way. I enjoy country music, classic rock and oldies, although I am open to other genres of music. Truly, though, I do not get into opera and classical music. I have two grown children who do not live with me. On this profile, I am trying to be honest, because I do not want any games or anyone who is presenting themselves as something they are not. I am a regular girl who looks pretty good for my age. I am casual and enjoy the simple things in life like working in the yard, riding my bike, going to gym, spending time with family, watching movies, listening to music, going to the beach and generally just hanging out. I have had enough relationships to know that you need to develop a friendship, before you can go further, so I am looking for someone I can be friends with and if it develops into something else, then that would be great. A good first meeting would be at a casual restaurant just to meet and see if we have any similar interests.
