First of all, I think that intent question is too black or white! Let me clarify...I am not into serial dating at all, but am not necessarily on the hunt for a relationship. Now about me.....hmmmmm I am a relatively busy single mom. I have an 18 year old son and soon, my time will be all mine. I am friendly, funny, and basically spunky. I have a fairly warped sense of humor. I work out about 5 days a week and am in good shape. I can't decide if I'm athletic, or average, or thin. I think it's all relative. I'm kind of little and cute, I'm told. I didn't have that option.Things I like are movies, (theater & snuggling at home), checking out new restaurants, live music, traveling, window shopping, red wine, politics, and definitely goofing off. Since I've been on this site, I have rediscovered that I actually really like writing. I dream of seeing more of the world someday when my son is safely in college. Previous plans were derailed by children! Yikes! I am enjoying meeting new friends, some dating and if it develops into a hot new romance, cool. Eventually, something more permanent is no longer off the table. At first, I had no interest in a serious relationship, but after 6 years, it's not quite so scary. This is actually scarier now!I enjoy a somewhat warped sense of humor. ;)I will not reply if you don't have a photo.I always wonder why the person who gives a glowing testimonial of somebody on a profile is not dating THAT person?!Another thing I wonder is why so many people do not post a photo? I generally assume that they are frightfully ugly. (I think that you probably think that too!)Or else you have a secret and don't want to be seen. So post a photo please. I will not answer an *** one. No man whores please. There seem to be way too many.Oh...and I do enjoy a little black dress and heels. We'll see what transpires :)

OK I guess I need a story. At my age I have lots of stories so now to pick one! My life changed about ***years ago when I got custody of my grandson and he became the light of my life. He is the sweetest smartest little man I have ever met and he will always be first. That does not mean he is the only one I can love or have fun with. I am in sales so no I am not a roughneck! LOL I love life and like to have fun. I also love to dance!

I have been divorced for a few years now and do not have kids of my own, but have had step kids who are now grown. I own my own business and its tough getting by, so I am struggling like most everyone else. I'd like to meet some real good nice people that i can trust. Just getting out and making friends should open the door to getting out more and making more friends.;mom an dem" and like to get home and visit whenever possible to see my family and lifelong friends and enjoy that good food that I grew up with, including sloppy roast beef po-boys. Seems you can't find that good french bread in these parts, but I love the seafood here and the laid back atmosphere. The people are super here and you just can't beat these beautiful beaches.I love nature and bird watching, especially the pelicans on the water....For me, even though I would like to find someone to have a relationship with, I take things one step at a time. For me that means getting to know someone casually and getting to know each other as just friends, before rushing into anything more serious. My reason for this is because I do not want to hurt anyone and I too do not want to get hurt. I have found that some men seem to want something sexual pretty early on, but for me, I would rather wait for that until I know that the relationship is a romantic one that may go somewhere, and that takes time. I am very trustworthy and like to have fun, am sensible but not boring, have a wide range of music that i like and movies. i love kids, the beach, wine, good food, dancing, etc. Most of all I am honest, and I understand how hard it is when "PO Fishing" to let someone know that you don't really want to meet them, or afterwards, don't really want to get together again. Believe me I have been in the same situation, but the WORST thing to do is to string them along and keep them wondering and waiting, and EVEN WORSE to spend time with them just because you don't want to hurt their feelings. If anyone out there can relate to that, feel free to respond: I'd like to know men's thoughts. There are no strings attached to sending a message. I'm someone who needs honest friends because life is too short to spend time being misled or confused, when I can be out finding someone who really wants to be with me. I offer the same in return because I care as much about the feelings of others. Most of my friends and people I meet find that I am very humorous and fun to be with, so don't take things too seriously when first getting to know me. I want to get out more and have some fun and I hope that some of you eligibles out there will take what I have written in this profile seriously, but respond if you'd like to get to know me un-seriously at first, if that makes any sense.Always looking up at "the hill", but refuse to go over it. Thanks for checking out my profile.Go Saints! For a first meeting, we could meet for coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a walk, but I prefer the man ask me out for the first time rather than the other way around. Also I prefer only a little messaging online, and prefer to meet someone face to face as friends without any pressure.
