I just bought a "new" old house that I am challenged to fix up and find out what I can create on my own.Family: I am happily divorced with two awesome children, a son, age 17 and a daughter, age 19, both of whom I enjoy spending time with, neither live with me. I have a small extended family and enjoy spending time with my sister, my mom when she's in town or I go to visit her, or a family reunion when they come around. Other Interests: Besides all the fun-loving things I've already mentioned, I love listening to music and like several different genres, but my favorite is rock 'n roll. I'm into all the classic rock, hard rock, and alternative rock music - no country music, please! Having been a Yoga/Pilates *** so long, I get into some of the new age music. Recently, I've learned that I enjoy some of the new DJ/Club mixes that are out there, like Hardwell and Infected Mushrooms. I love to dance! I also play the piano and often fill in at church. What I'm looking for:I really want a devoted, outgoing and fun companion with whom to enjoy life! In the years to come, I plan to keep my career successful, yet get out doors and experience nature as much as possible doing all the activities I love and hopefully travel, all of this with my new found love.What I do when I'm not working: Get out, meet others, and have as much fun as possible! I have two toy poodle dogs that keep me company and they're both sweet and fun little dogs. I usually have several home projects going on. Spend time with my kids and other family members when we can work it out I'm easy going, but would like to be able to talk on a first date, so dinner and movie (doesn't have to be dinner out), or a hike - anything outdoors. If the person I date is not local I would be willing to spend more time for a longer first date since travelling would be involved. I am not shy and can make good conversation. A first date kiss is good if the chemistry is there - NOT without good chemistry.

If I must.....as of late, I have been busy raising my beautiful daughter and changing careers. I have recently completed both of these incredible endeavors. My girl is off to college at the end of the summer and I have just finished my second year of teaching. Although I have travelled down this road of meetville before I have a whole new perspective and am ready to try again. Needless to say, the first go around was a bust and I swore off this idea for some time...the internet. I will not lie, I shuddered a bit as I typed that! I also have been blessed to have had the opportunity to create a theater company for which I direct live theater at an incredible renovated local theater. This is most definitely a huge part of my life right now. Last, but actually first.....I love the Lord. I am a forward thinking Christian girl who likes Obama, dislikes the Tea Party and is incredibly independent. There you have it. Coffee or dinner with plenty of respectful conversation ( sad that I must actually write that!). Let's get to know each other with no expectations other than meeting a new friend. I’ve read quite a number of your profiles and know I need to approach this delicately. Some of y’all have been traumatized by experiences on this site, so let me set the record straight. I don’t dip or chew, I have a full set of teeth and I don’t have to hold my head at an angle so they look straight. My backside can be accommodated by a single barstool if I should happen to sit on one, the profile picture was taken recently, and it’s really me. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I’ I’ Bald heads are my favorite, but short hair is good too. And while I know it’s really the company that matters, if you want to open doors for me, you need to be physically active on a regular basis or you’ll never get to the door before me. I enjoy bicycling, hiking, movies, reading, traveling, and I like to dance!!! I have been skydiving, parasailing, and zip lining and loved the thrill, but I'm also content with the simple things in life. It's really the company that matters, not the destination. Growing up on a farm helped me learn to value the simple things in life and I see things differently than some. I enjoy conversation with a man who is witty and a good intellectual match, but who can also be comfortable with silence. A professional type man, especially one who is educated, is preferred. A place where we can hear well enough to have a conversation.
