I am a fun loving person who likes to enjoy old and new things. When I say enjoy old and new things, I don't mean men! I'm really not interested in anyone who is younger than 50, and unless you are very young and healthy for your age, I don't see myself with anyone older than 59. I think it's important for us to have some common ground and life experiences. We don't have to be a perfect match, but I can say for certain that a non-drinking, conservative or deeply religious person will not enjoy spending time with me in the long run. I am 52 and feel better and I think I look better than I did in my 20s and 30s. I'm looking for someone who is doing his best to live a healthy life while still enjoying life's food and drink pleasures in moderation. If you don't have a profile picture, I assume you have something to hide or you just don't care enough. Just want all the tattoo haters to know that I DO have a small butterfly tattoo on the shoulder area of my back. It is the result of a crazy night out with fellow soccer moms 10 years ago. I have no plans for future ink, but my adult children have multiple tattoos.I am a hard working professional and I love what I do. At the same time, I like being social. I enjoy an evening at home with my friends and family eating good food and having drinks, but I also like going out to dinner to a nice pub, brewery, or restaurant. I'm definitely more casual than formal. I'm not the night club type. I love eating and preparing many different types of food and have an interest in craft beers. I read books, but I'm not a snob. TV isn't crucial to my life. I enjoy a variety of shows, but won't cry if I miss one. Some favorites include Arrested Development and Breaking Bad, but I also love HGTV, Food Network and Antique Roadshow. I enjoy movies, at home and in theaters. I don't mind country, but jazz is not my style.I plan to teach for quite a few more years. Like I said, it's something I love, and the work schedule is ideal. I look forward to more travel in my future. I'm more of a warm weather than cold weather person. I've been told that I have a good sense of humor and I would want my partner to have one as well. I don't mean being silly or cute. I mean some wit and sarcasm, but never at someone else's expense. I'm very close to my family and enjoy spending time with my sister and brother-in-law, who share many of my same interests.
