If I trust you, I will be a good, supportive person in your life. Whatever works for both of us, but probably just having drinks and getting to visit.

I am not 52. Leave it at that. Pics are all within a year or so (dates are with pic). I don't spend a lot of time on here so don't use 'chat, 'favourites' or 'meet me' Send me an *** am generally happy. I stay in shape but am not obsessed with fitness. Everything in moderation! Not considered the outdoorsy type but am not afraid to get my hands dirty either. I am not religious but believe there is something bigger than us. I am guided by the principles of karma and the law of attraction. Positive brings positive and vice versa. I am a hockey fan although not necessarily a canucks fan. The best hockey for me was watching my son play. I love to travel. Well not so much the travel as the destination. Many places yet to see on my bucket list. I like dining out or in with family, friends, you? I enjoy live performances, be it music, comedy, plays, sports etc. I respect our planet and don't abuse it, but other than that I am not a 'save the whales' type. I prefer substance over hype, just sayin'. I have been on my own and have raised my two children for several years. I am independent and not a terribly needy person. That said, I enjoy being treated well. Who doesn't? I am an empty nester and while raising my children were some of the best years of my life, i've been there, done that. nuff said. Please don't be offended if I don't respond. Sometimes it just doesn't work for whatever reason, be it distance, interests, chemistry, etc... All the best. Maybe a glass of wine or something in a relaxed setting.

Well, this isn't something I ever envisioned myself doing, but is probably something all of us at this age using an internet dating web-site have in common. Lol. Don't really know what to say about myself, but here goes. I believe I am a positive, honest person with integrity. I am a firm believer in treating others in a way you would want yourself to be treated. I'm stable and responsible, both financially and emotionally. Drama is something I don't care to participate in--life is dramatic enough without creating any more. I'm a very laid- (Get over it!!! Lol.)I do like many of the amenities city life has to offer and feel comfortable dressing up and going out, but have to say I prefer outdoor life. As far as some of my personal tastes: I like classic rock music, but enjoy listening to any type of music live. I love going to live sporting events of most any kind. I love wine and beer tasting, and trying different cuisine. As far as my sense of humor is concerned, I'm just kind of a sarcastic smart-ass,(oh, did I say that?). I can dish it out, but I can definitely take it! Lol.I am an awesome cook, and love cooking for and spoiling my man. I believe in spoiling my man in every way.I may be in my fifties (blah), but have been told I look ten years younger, and I am still a kid at heart. Age is only relative to how you view it, and I don't intend to ever get old. I like fun and adventure, and would love to find someone who just enjoys life!!! There's definitely a difference between a first meeting and a first date. For a first encounter I think going for a coffee, or a drink is good. Preferably somewhere with a quieter atmosphere, where you can hold a conversation. For a first date, it depends on how the first meeting went, and what the other person's interests are.......just spending some time getting to know one another.
