About Me

At the moment I am still in the exploring my ownself phase of life so I am not entirely sure what my hobbies are. I enjoy reading a lot and I love helping people which is why I just completed the advanced standing MSW program at USM. I find that my education is one of the most important things to me and my goal is to become an LCSW and do private practice therapy with victims/ survivors of trauma. I currently do therapy in the home with children and their families.One of the things that I feel is unique about myself is that I emancipated myself from my parents when I was 16 years old. This does not mean that family isn't important to me, because it very much is. It means that I was strong enough to put what I needed first in order to succeed in life and it has made me who I am today.My taste in music like most things is entirely dependent upon my mood. I like everything from oldies, classic rock, alternative, hard rock, metal, emo, country, pop and sometimes even jazz or rap, hip-hop and everything in between. Once you get to know me you'll be able to judge my mood by what music I am listening to. I know I have written a lot, but if you have any questions feel free to ask. I feel the best kind of date is one in which you can communicate in a low-barrier fashion and that is a comfortable environment such as bowling, mini-golfing, coffee shop or a book/ music store.
