About Me

I would like to find someone close to home to date, maybe more. I love all the seasons that the PNW offers. I enjoy road trips to where ever times premits. Whomever I am with will need to be comfortable with holding hands... in public. I am a affection person and like showing it. I am not a fancy gal. I would rather have Daisies then Roses. I like to go to dinner every once in a while but happy with a nice dinner at home too. I usually have a Mary Poppins attitude with my every day life.Some things I like are, old barns, the smell of the ocean, finding small ways to pay it forward, antiques, milk chocolate, hot tea, and sweet tea. Tried cross country ski and snow shoeing, enjoy both, I need to spend more time to really get the hang of them both.I enjoy a wide verity of things:Football, Fishing, Volunteering, Nascar, Gardening,Baking Shock Football, Parades, Short Hikes, Cooking, Sewing, Car Shows Hockey games, Fairs, Monster Trucks, Kayaking, Social group events. Fall is here! I'm enjoying the fall colors, and what better way to see them is with a few more kayak trips and some short hikes.     I'm down to earth and easy to get along with. I believe for any relationship to work there has to be trust, communication and honesty. When it comes to trust some people believe it has to be earned, others give it freely until the person gives them a reason not to. That's me. I trust unless I see a reason not to. I might be wrong but I think those who believe trust has to be earned is because someone has hurt them in the past and it is not right to take that into the next relationship and give that person a hard time because of what someone did to them in the past. I went through that in my last relationship and it was so unfair. I never want to go through that again.I like going for walks or drives outside the city.; any place near the water. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs although I don't mind if someone is a social drinker as long as they do not drink excessively & although I prefer to date a non smoker, I would consider dating a man who smokes, all in good time, if he had decent morals and treated me with respect. Dating someone who does drugs, except those prescribed by a doctor is out of the question so if you do drugs please don't waste your time sending me a message. I like one on one or getting together with a few close friends or family.I'm not looking to rush into a relationship. The friendship may develope into a relationship in due time, only time will tell.
