I'm a 40-something (*see update below) that doesn't feel much older than 30...I play my music too loud (according to my kids), drive a little too fast...and make my coffee a little too strong. I don't have a specific age range in mind, but I do listen to current music (yes, that includes rap, alt. rock, etc. - country, not so much) and still like to go out (occasionally) to a club/bar and dance. I especially like some of the live music outdoor concerts in the summer. (Actually, almost ANY summertime outdoor activity - bonus points if it includes water!)Basically, I'm a happy person and can't go too long without a good laugh...I tend to believe the best in people (until they prove me wrong)and am easy-going to a point (the Sicilian side can be brought to the surface when necessary!) I've lived in Central NY for many years so the LI accent is almost gone! Loved raising my kids in a small town...but it's not so great for meeting people.PS - I try to answer *** the 'looking for intimate encounter' category...responding to messages will block you from talking to some people...also, prefer an *** introduction rather than IMing...like to 'know' who I'm talking to!*UPDATE: Guess I'm not a 40-something anymore *SOB*...but I'm sticking to the rest of the description...ok maybe I feel more like 31 now haha. Nothing unique here - I think a good first date would be meeting for coffee. Maybe some quiet place for a drink if all goes well! Someplace conducive to some talking would be good. Usually it's apparent fairly quickly if there's any chemistry.

At times, I can be impulsive & outspoken, and I already know at which temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit) the hot water will tan my hide as a result!I can schlep a 5-gallon bucket of water (8.4 lbs per gallon, 3.8ish kilos) from a well to the horse trough and I know how to stack a cord of wood (4 x 4 by 8 ft. long) so it doesn't fall. I can also tie your tie when readying for the symphony that evening; gracefully enjoy a glass of chardonnay with dinner while my inner child is dancing a happy dance anticipating our evening afterwards at home. I'm not 54 as stated on my profile. I attempted to correct it but meetville doesn't allow changing a birthdate after a profile's been active for two or > weeks. So, take a guess... I'm to the point where I have the freedom to do as I please & it would please me to have a symbiotic relationship with a man whom I appreciate and admire for his accomplishments, strong character, high level of intelligence, self-confidence and self-assurance.
