I am a very intense and passionate person who loves to do things for my guy creating mood makers and nice settings to enjoy life ! It is very important my guy is able to do the same. If you are unable to make a plan and take the lead, we would not connect in the way I am desiring. I am truly looking for my best friend and lover. No wolves in sheep's clothing, PLEASE because if I do not initially see through any BS, my close circle of friends will ! :-) My idea of a great first date happens AFTER the initial meeting between two interested people. An ideal first date to me could be many settings dependent upon moods, seasons, events, etc. Atmosphere is important--a nice fire, great music, and comfortable seating are all great enhancements so both individuals can gaze and talk and really begin to get to know each other. A great first date could also be taking in a hockey or baseball game--first and after stopping in an intimate pub, sitting in a booth having a couple of drinks, laughing and talking***ability to tune the rest of the world out and focus and talk. A great first date could be a picnic in the park, blanket spread, wine and cheese, (portable CD player with nice music playing)--again good atmosphere to talk. Actually, a great first date would be GREAT if the guy came up with the plan and surprised me!

I believe that I am a very intelligent, extremely fun, always active, witty with a sarcastic twist who loves to laugh type woman. Sometimes I think I can be a little gullible or over-trusting when it comes to some of the people in my life and those that I begin to allow in my life or daily experiences. My parents, who were phenomenal people, taught my seven siblings and myself that all people are good at heart and everyone deserves a first chance. And Just Maybe... A Second. Yes, this attitude has bit me in the rump more than once, but it has also allowed me to meet some really terrific people. I am very tolerable of most things, being from a large family, you would have to be. My biggest pet peeves are liars, cheaters, and people without any consideration of others and those with low morals. I love new adventures and trying new things. My friends and family consider me to be compassionate, considerate and think of others first, sometimes to a fault. Whenever I get involved in any project, I take it very serious and put 100% in to everything I do. I enjoy all animals, with the exception of reptiles. There nice but I definitely don't want to own or live with any. I was a successful competitive equestrian for many years. I like just about all types of music. I don't consider myself a music snob. I am a singer and currently putting a new band together along with working on a once in a lifetime recording project with a major label. The beach is my favorite place to visit and would love to live there someday, One more thing you should know about me, although I am all of the above and lead a vey exciting life, I am also very old fashioned when it comes to relationship. Even though I enjoy staying busy and active, there's nothing more enjoyable than cuddling on the couch, taking walks holding hands or just sitting around after a great meal talking. I like a man who can take charge, and wants to be the protector. Now that doesn't mean I want someone who is smothering, controlling,ridiculously jealous or possessive. I am very low maintenance and enjoy all the simple things that life has to offer. I am not materialistic. I believe that you should always try and look your best no matter what the circumstance. I am not a sissy girl and not afraid of getting dirty or working hard. But I am definitely a lady and know how to be a lady at all times.When it comes do my ideal mate, I will be very direct. I am the only one who knows what I want, right? I am not looking to settle and just won't.As far as the man I would like to meet, well it shouldn't be as difficult as it seems to be these days. I am not interested in serial daters and/or players. I don't want to chat with anyone who has pictures of a lot of young, young women in them (unless their your daughters). I want him to be taller than myself, have hair, is close to my age or younger, active (meaning he doesn't go nighty, night at 9pm) and romantic. I am looking for that special someone who will sweep me off my feet and is always be surprising me. A man who dresses right for every occasion, no wife beaters. A real man who is chivalrous and really knows how to treat a woman.I want the type of relationship that when we are in a room together, people are jealous of what we have with each other. The first date should be drinks or coffee somewhere in a public place. We will meet somewhere and see where it leads. Honesty is going to be very important. I am a very caring, down to earth person, soft-spoken and I do not judge people. I am genuine with my thoughts and feelings. I am not wild and crazy but sometimes I can be!!! Little things in life mean a lot to me as I've been through a lot (as I'm sure weall have been at some point in our lives). I do not need a lot of materialistic things to get through life. Again, little things aremost important.... friends, having close relationships, a smile, kindness to one another. Keeping the Lord close to your hearthelps with that happiness. You'll usually see me with a smile on my face and a positive attitude and a bubbly personality....I love to travel... U.S. and abroad, love cruises too! Ice Hockey is one of my favorites (watching that is) and enjoy watching most sports in general. I do like to stay active as I like to stay in shape. I play co-ed volleyball, enjoy camping, riding bikes, going to the beach or themountains.... but I really like the beach! I am almost always willing to try something at least once.I have grown children now. One in college and one in her last years of high school. It is now time for me to start living my life andinvesting time with someone special. Hopefully to spend the rest of my life with (him).I believe a strong friendship can only lead to having a strong relationship that could last a lifetime.
