My glass is always half full and I have been told that I have everything it takes to make a man happy. I am young for my age and still look good ( I am told). My goal is to travel the world before I leave this place and I want someone to grow old with. I would love to join the Peace Core someday but my daughter won't let me! LOL- she is too scared of me dying of some crazy disease, but we'll see. I am not a " goodie two shoes" by any means, but I try real hard to do the right thing for both myself and others. I grew up in NY, so the "; life is something I lived with for many years. I am Italian and proud of it! A first date depends on the people who are going to meet and what they both enjoy. I would want my first date to be something we both enjoy doing. I would not want my first date to be at Starbucks ( also over- rated). LOLHaving said that, I think the first date should be decided by us ( together). If your idea of a first date is Starbucks, Wings and Things, or at your house, then count me out. A good first date for me would be going for a walk near the beach or in a park, then a happy hour somewhere, preferably a place outside with a band. Have you ever been to Monterrey Bay Cannery ( spelling ?Of course this is just one suggestion I have.- frame cottage, then cook some ravioli while drinking a glass of Merlot and have dinner in front of the fire. Now that's a date! My security guard would be in the next room of course!! JKLets just wait and see how we connect and then decide what we should do... OK?

    So, this is the new way to meet people, that's what my friends say. I am still a little unsure about that, but thought I would give it a shot. I was married for 15 years and lost my husband over two years ago. I never thought I would be able to move on from that, but I guess it is time. I have a lot of family and some very close friends, but now am ready for some companionship and eventually hope to find love and intimacy again.I am looking for someone who doesn't take life too seriously, doesn't sweat the small stuff. I enjoy almost all sports -- watching them or going to them. My Sundays are saved for football and NASCAR. I love going to D-Backs and Coyotes games. I do go to the gym and am working on being healthier. I would love to start hiking, seems everyone on this site hikes! I don't do much camping, the last time I camped was at the NASCAR race in February and that was in a 5th wheel with running water. I do enjoy outdoor activities, the movies, rock concerts, all the basic stuff.Don't judge a book by it's cover, open it up, you might be surprised by what you find!! Something simple, a drink or a bite to eat. We have all been down this road before, so let's not play games, let's just see if we like each other.
