Hummm.....Describe myself.....Well.. I love to laugh. I try to find humor in almost everything. I'm a music lover and honestly I think the only time I don't hear some type of music in my head is when I'm sleeping. I'm mom to an adult child. Being a mom has been the best thing I've ever done and the thing I'm most proud of. I'm not super physical and I have to make myself go to the gym. It's just not high on my priority list unless I have time to spare. Plus my job is kind of physical and do I want to go workout after 8 hours of a physical beating? Probably not. I don't do out-; such but I really believe that for the right person, all things are possible. It's the give and take thing. Besides, I like to think I'm open minded and would try something I've never done if I met someone I knew it was important to. (I do have a line though as I'm very afraid of heights) I like to dress up for a nice evening and I like to lounge around in my comfys. I love movies and live entertainment with music being my very favorite. I love to people watch but don't do much of that lately. I work with the public and for the most part seeing them all day is enough.I've been told I'm a good listener, that I'm funny and sassy... Sassy? does that mean "smart a--?" I'm kind of independant but that's really because I've had to be. As for the "dating" thing on my profile, I use that term because it's what has to be done to get the end result. I'd love to find someone for the long term but I don't want to put pressure on anything. I'd like to let it grow and form in it's own time. I'm not a serial dater. Reality? I feel the first meet should be very light so you can figure out if you really want to spend a "date night" with that person.For a first meet, it's just more comfortable to meet for a drink and a little conversation somewhere easy. Drink does not mean alcohol. It means whatever you drink. But it has to be in a place where normal conversation can be heard.

It is important to me to laugh each and every day (cliché, but true), so I am definitely of good humor, have a great sense of humor, and am looking for someone who enjoys laughing at and with me. I am extremely playful (I love that word and all of its many connotations) and good natured (unless I am in a hurry and someone is driving like an idiot in front of me....then hopefully you are not within earshot as I may no longer sound like much of a lady ;-)). Life can be overwhelmingly serious or sublimely humorous. I choose the latter whenever possible. I do not get hung up on age differences since I believe once you are thirty-something, your personality is pretty well established and the playing field is leveled. I was married briefly, but have no children.I work hard when needed. I also relish those lazy days and definitely know how to relax, enjoy and play. I am always up for new places, new people, new activities or just hanging out and going nowhere special. I am pretty easy to please and appreciate simple pleasures as well as adventures, planned events as well as spontaneous ones.I have opinions and am passionate about some, but do not like conflict, so I tend to pick my battles.
