This is my 2nd kick of the can, so to speak. I have decided to update my profile. I'm feeling a bit frustrated because I just did this & lost it all somehow. But, I will give it another try. I am nothing if not resilient. I will attempt to describe myself in a way that is honest, but extremely flattering to me. What is most important for you to hear? I come from an extremely large family & I grew up on a Saskatchewan farm. I will tell you a secret; I love the prairies. I love the sky (especially at night) & I love the flatness of the landscape--the wide-openness of it. You have to be confident in your own survival skills to live on the prairies. I am always proud when people step up the plate during or after a storm to help someone else.***day.Not a big movie-lover or a TV-lover although I don't mind going to the theatre sometimes. I like movies where you see some character development. Sometimes these kinds of movies just make me cry like a baby. Don't ask me why. I get kind of caught up in what's happening, I suppose. I can't say that I really like action movies but I will tolerate them sometimes if there is not a lot of blood &; many others. I don't like country too much but I enjoy listening to "Margaritaville";That Lonesome Road", "Landslide" & "Amazing Grace", if you ask me. And what can you say about The Boss? He's a classic on his own. Have you ever heard him do ";? I like the song anyway but I especially like his rendition.I suppose you could say that I am a work in progress. I look at myself today & think about how I was, even 6 months ago, & I know that I have grown & I don't mean in width. I am not where I want to be yet, by any means, but I am getting there. I also like where I am & I believe that I like myself as I am. That, I must say, has been a long journey & probably not for this profile. I grew up under the tutelage of some really decent people; people with compassion & integrity. These are people who lived honorably (that's an old-fashioned word, I know, but a word not really used enough, in my opinion) so if you want to know what kind of person I am, then think of what those words mean.I am currently working in a human service field. If we ever meet, I will tell you about it. I have aspirations to be self-employed one day. I have my certificate as Life Coach now & hope to get that going. This is all in aid of my goal, which is to see the world.--known or unknown--& just spend a couple days there. I think I will leave my hobbies & interests for another day except to say that I try to be open to new things. So that's me in a nutshell. Hopefully, I will be able to post this without too much trouble. . The coffee thing seems to be the biggest first date option. I suppose it is the easiest & gives you a chance to talk to the other person. I like walks, though. There are so many places in this city that are really pretty. I am not going to put more down right now. In my last profile, I did go on, so I am going to keep this short & sweet.

I am an active person;seldom watch TV unless the Chiefs are playing( they suck this year) and tennis,prefer to be out-of-doors,(don't care for couch potatoes), love to cook, bake, sew & quilt when forced to be indoors. I built a nice home in the woods & love watching & feeding the wildlife & trapping those pesky coons & 'possoms.I live alone with my animals both those that claim me and those that yip, howl, hoot & snort on their way thru my valley.Like to fish; would love to find a fly fisherman who is PATIENT, and could further my fly fishing skills which are nominal at best. I bowl twice weekly, walk in the woods daily and garden & work in my yard daily, weather permitting. Currently refinishing antique furniture-love to antique/junk shop-looking for a treasure under all the yuck-Beauty is really only skin deep.; The Highwaymen, Blues & old Country.If you are a guest in my home you will never be asked to re-visit if you wear a baseball/giveaway cap indoors or leave the "SEAT" up!!
