I would best describe myself as "old school". I still believe in opening doors and being a gentleman. Not because I want to impress, but to live up to my standards. I am very outgoing and have a ton of acquaintances and some great lifelong friends. I work hard but don't like to just sit around when I'm not working, there has to be some play and socializing or life gets way too boring. I have a 22 yr old son I enjoy spending time with, he's a great kid. I'm not looking for or expecting anything more than friends right now because I believe all great relationships have to start out as friends first, although if Courtney Cox happens by the site and is reading this then yes, I'm ready for marrige now. Perfect first date would involve a beach, a yatch, and a Jimmy Buffett private concert, but reality is more like a few *** we are comfortable enough to exchange phone numbers and then we will get a chance to get to know each other enough to know what we would mutually enjoy!!

I prefer conversation or reading to TV almost always.I can be the life of the party.I prefer consistency of attitude and action.I like to go dancing. I dance like Snoopy. If you aren't familiar with a listed interest of mine, there's this thing now called Google. lol. This says first date. It doesn't say disclaim that & call it 1st meeting. To me, a date is not the same as a meet-n-greet. That's, well, a meeting. A date means you've already met & decided to go out together to do something. Have some fun - not sit across from each other and interview until the meal or drinks arrive. It takes more than a meet-n-greet, and likely more than one date, to really 'get to know' someone anyway, at least I think so. I can tell whether I want to continue to spend time with a person relatively quickly, but to think I know the person more than what they want to let show after one brief face-to-face? Not the way I think.Decide what to do together, or I can take the lead on that if you prefer. Come up with something cool yourself and I'm likely all in, so no worries!
