I am a huge science and space geek, I overwhelm myself with the blabberings on in the science community. I was in the Army for 8 years, I'm big into photography and videography, I'm obsessive over music, I'm not your indie hipster but I'm into that, I like getting lost in folk, huge into big bands like the Foos and Incubus, City and Colour... ( *** ) -my mediocre film/edit skills. I like to drive out into the bush and break my truck and shoot at things on occasion (but I don't have that redneck blow sh*tup and make a mess attitudes)The serious business:I'm coming up on 30 now... I want to buy a house, I've got a savings account and I even have a nice suit. I'm going to be a career rescue professional, I want to travel internationally for work. I have a huge respect and appreciation for the environment and I take prettty good care of myself (some exceptions) and I don't take stupid risks.You, if you please: To be as honest as possible, looking over the girls that got away and the girls I wish were single... I really like humbled, genuine cute, quiet but "quirkily-social" girls. A girl that doesn't mind getting muddy, looks good without makeup, that takes care of her body. I'm the type of guy that can look around a motorcycle shop, hardware store, or sporting goods store for hours. Not much of a drinker these days, I've got a bottle of fireball whiskey in the kitchen cabinet that hasn't been opened since early April. Maybe I just need the right occasion ;)My taste in music is pretty focused. I enjoy listening to Heavy Metal, Rock, and Classic Rock. I can listen to country but it has to be stuff that isn't totally hokey. Not generally a Pop music fan, although I have caught myself trying to dance to that "Get Lucky" song by daft punk. I'm a big fan of motorsports. NASCAR and motocross is what I generally watch the most of. Although I can watch pretty much kind of racing. I've had a facination with cars and motorcycles since as far back as I can remember. I was the kid that would put a playing card in his bicycle spokes so it would make an engine sound LOL. I also enjoy football and playoff hockey.I think dogs are the best pets ever. I'm allergic to cats, but if you've got a cat that is very important to you and you become important to me, then I understand that the cat comes with the package. I would like to meet an ambitious girl. Somebody who understands the value of money and hard work. I want a girl who is good with doing anything as long as we're doing it together. I recently learned about the 5 love languages, my top three are physical touch, quality time, and acts of service. Hopefully that gives you a better idea as to who I am and what I want from a relationship. Something simple where we can talk and get to know each other. Grabbing a cup of coffee is good for that because its low pressure.
