I am 42 years old. I have 1 son and a granddaughter. I am a very family oriented person who enjoys sitting at home spending time reading, watching movies, playing games, relaxing, doing yard work in the summer and just hanging out with friends and family. I also like to go out and go shopping, go to the movies and out to eat. I like to go to museums, and go swimming, camping, and fishing. I like to go to plays and the ballet, I like to listen to jazz on the green and go to renisance fairs. I enjoy going to the YMCA and working out (I AM NOT in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM skinny though!!!!) When my granddaughter comes over I love spending time with her and doing whatever she wants to do (she keeps me young and active!). I like country music and watching, and sometimes participating in, country dancing (line dancing, lol).I am very shy when I first meet people. I tend to be more of a listener then talker. However, once I know you I am very outspoken and generally keep up with the best of them.And finally, apparently I like to write books about myself according to my best friend.     I believe any relationship should start out as friends first. I hope to find my best friend/soulmate as a start to what will hopefully lead into an amazing future. Other things I like is walking hand in hand, lazy weekend mornings, spontaneous outings, star gazing, laying in bed listening to a nice thunderstorm.For exercise, I enjoy walking - I like to read, watch movies of all kinds, listen to all types of music, but prefer 80s and country.I am not a materialistic type of person but I admit I want someone who will treat me special and spoil me. Not with things but with attention and affection. I want to do the same for the special man in my life. I want to be the couple that everyone talks about how we are so in love after all those years! Let's face it, no relationship is perfect and there will always be some disagreements. I want someone who is willing to communicate through those disagreements. Someone who will talk through things until we work them out and who is willing to compromise.
