So much of my life was dedicated to work that I woke up one day and realized that I was fifty and alone. I don't like this situation and really want to find a nice guy to share life. I enjoy scuba diving and travel. I learned a year ago and really love diving. I have always enjoying traveling, but diving has given my travels new purpose. I hope to dive all over the world. Some times it takes being away to really appreciate home. One of the great side effects of travel is coming home and sleeping in my own bed, a really wonderful thing. At home I enjoy cooking, movies, walks, and bike rides. I try really hard to live in the moment and not let the past or future over shadow the now. My good relationship qualities are I am a loving, compassionate, and loyal partner. If I had to point out my less than ideal qualities they would be that I can be a bit too direct, decisive and occasionally obtuse. To be honest I haven't had lots of relationships, nor have I had any really long ones. I guess I am a little shy and a bit insecure when it comes to you wonderful men. I am divorced for the last time too painful. I love animals and children.I love to cook nice meals and enjoy eating with someone,desserts are nice and having a nice conversation, I can be naive, silly, serious when need to be, work hard, sometimes talk too much, but can listen and comfort and be loyal and stand up for what I believe in, have my opinions and you can try to change my mind but not if it is something I am firm in that won't happen but I do know that we will not always agree but we can agree to be different. But a motorcycle does not define who I am nor will I die if I never ride again.I am looking for a man who knows what God says about marriage and how it should be, in that way is a marriage able to work and stay solid with Jesus as the foundation.Who looks forward to Church and life, sharing.I admit I have a few faults, have had some bad times in my life and am far from perfect, but I also know these faults and these areas and am working on healing in them. I need a man who has compassion and admits his faults also. I am a compassionate honest woman who loves the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, snow shoeing, horseback riding. I enjoy photography, cooking, reading and laughter! What do I think makes me unique...well perhaps it is my can do attitude toward life, I am a realist, but I think I can do anything I put my hand to do and age has little to do with anything unless one is old in their mind. I'm happy, peaceful and love to laugh and enjoy helping others laugh too. I am not into drama unless it's on TV... :) I do like to watch TV but am not a sit in front of it day and night kind of girl. I enjoy reading in front of the fireplace, talking a walk or puttering around my house fixing or sprucing things up. I enjoy gardening, a bike ride or just sitting on the swing in the backyard looking up at the stairs - alone or with a friend - either way I am comfortable.My friendships are with folks I have known most of my life. Althouhg have made some new ones along the way also. Friendship and family are important to me.I would like to met someone who enjoys nature and at least some of the activities I enjoy and would be willing to teach me to do the things they enjoy as well. I think having a sense of humor and being "glass is half full" approach to life is important. I am a positive person and think it would be best to find someone who shares a similar approach to life. It would be nice to have a partner who enjoys doing things together, sharing the simple things in life as well as our own little adventures. I think communication is the key to a healthy relationship, compromising and seeing both sides of the coin before one 'digs' their heels in on something. I care more about people than things, but have been very blessed in on all fronts. I am a person of deep faith and I see God everywhere when I am in nature and I figure if He can make all of that work so perfectly, he must have a pretty good plan for us mere humans... I try and walk out my life by following Christ's example. And I have a really great life, filled with lots of peace and enjoyment. Sharing this with a partner would be important to me. It would be nice to sit on a park bench, go for a walk, sit and have coffee anything that would afford us the opportunity to chat and get to know each other. I love to have fun, but I value life way to much to try and force date...if you know what I mean...I think getting to know someone should come naturally and I think the best way to achieve this is to talk honestly, listen intently and to do it some place /quite/peaceful and relaxing.After that, if we 'click' let's hike mountains, laugh until we cry and have fun while we grow a friendship and whatever else may come after that...
