I'm very laid back, somewhat quiet, a little shy at first but once I get comfortable with someone everything is on the table. I love the outdoors whether it's hiking, canoeing, stargazing or just a nice country drive. I don't hunt, just fish a little, I prefer to just walk through the woods and check out all the cool sights... Huge old trees, critters, creeks...as well as lay in a dark field, look at the stars and planets and just let my mind wonder and imagine. I started hanging out in bars and clubs from a very early age ***due to playing drums in rock bands so that really doesn't interest me too much anymore, although I do enjoy going to see GOOD bands, just not being a bar-club fly. I do like to go out from time to time but I'd rather spend my free time with people close to me enjoying life, not putting up with the drama of drunks at a club.... The last thing I need or want is some dumbass wanting to fight because his ex-girlfriend happened to be in my field of vision!! A nice bonfire or cookout in the backyard with good friends is much more enjoyable. . I guess I'm looking for someone to get to know and possibly date some and if something more becomes of it that's great. The best things usually happen when you aren't expecting or working towards them, it just kind of sneaks in on you!!) but I also like OLD country...not the crap that passes for country today "chew tobacco chew tobacco chew tobacco spit "....REALLY?, Golden oldies, 70's, 80's, jazz (the best drummers I've ever heard) I can't really do techno, hip hop, or soft pop (basically anything that uses a computer for the band) I can tolerate it if i have to but......I would really just like to find a fun, caring, loving, honest, intelligent, beautiful lady to build a relationship with that will last a lifetime. Yeah, I know, I don't want much. Ideally it would be something very relaxed that we would both enjoy. Lots of smiles and laughs and just having fun.... Haha. Did I mention I have a warped sense of humor too! Really though, maybe just meet somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere that is fairly quiet so we could actually carry on a conversation and then take it from there. Hopefully we will both be anxious to see one another again very soon.

I'm not a pro at the dating thing and I refuse to become one. I consider myself a really good guy and genuine. What you see is what you get, with a few good surprises. I'm a caring person. I enjoy being around fun and funny people. I am sarcastic, but only when I know someone else with me is as well or I am comfortable around you. So if you are that sarcastic person too, what fun it's gonna be. I have spent the past ***years, traveling for my job. I no longer travel, so with that, crazy as it is, living in the metro area all my life, I really haven't explored much in STL. So it probably won't hurt to have a partner to explore with. I like rock, country and a few other types of music. I can listen to mostly anything. I've only been to a few concerts, that happened to be country. I would really like to go to more concerts, preferably with an awesome, fun and wonderful woman with me. Could it be you? :) Favorite Movies; Lampoon's Vacations, Toy Stories, Shrek's. There's others, just can't think of em. Favorite Cereal of all time, Fruity Pebbles. Please try not to spit out your drink or choke after reading that. Yeah it's kinda weird I guess. I enjoy cooking. But in not a pro by any means. I have 2 dogs, a Lab/Shepard and a Shepard/Chow. The most they do to you is lick you to death. I enjoy working on and around my house. I do all my own home repairs and updates. I'm always thinking about the next project. I have an old home that needs lots of love and TLC. I stay home most of the time in the evenings and weekends. Really don't go out much, I prefer to spend my time out with someone and not alone. Gets boring talking to yourself all the time. Lol. I am willing and interested in experiencing new things and places. I'm looking for someone who is fun, humorous, honest and just be themselves and not pretend to be what they aren't. I feel that honesty and trust are the most important thing in any relationship. Without some of each to start with, you can't build any kind of friendship or relationship. The base of a great relationship, is a good friendship. I don't judge a person on their past, mistakes or decisions they have made. I prefer to learn aboit the individual and look at the person as a whole and who they are. We've all made mistakes or bad decisions at some point and we have learned from them and become a better person for that. Hey hey! This business of paraphrasing yourself in a few words is ridiculously hard. I'm a creative type, a follower of Jesus, a decent guy and loyal friend, and Father of the Year.
