Maybe I’ll never meet “the one,” but I am eternally optimistic that she is out there, waiting for me....Sure, it’s easy to look at my stats and profile pictures and make a *** me – we all do to varying degrees on dating sites – but at the end of the day, the only way to get a real sense of the person is, well, in person. I won’t use this space to say the stereotypical phrases like “I love spending time with family and friends, love to spend time outside, going for walks along the beach, blah, blah, blah” because it tells you nothing about your true personality. What I can tell you, and would love to have the opportunity to explore more in person is what makes me, well, me. Like my two kids (which I have been a sole parent to for over ***years); how I value trust, respect, decency, common courtesy and a have a relaxed outward looking view of the world; how my life experiences of the recent past have tested me in ways I couldn’t ever have imagined and how much I feel that I have so much to give to the right woman to come into my life and grow old with me.So, I welcome you to take a chance, and let me take you out for drinks (hate the “coffee date” as it is too much like an interview) to see if we would truly have a connection – though if I’ve send you a message, I believe at least, that there is something worth pursuing (even if my message is deleted before being read - a MAJOR pet peeve of mine).Anyway, I am what you see, a transparent, decent, honourable, hopeless romantic, “nice guy” without any an ulterior motives, neither into giving nor receiving head games (pointless in my mind), and truly open to committing 110% to the right woman.
