UPDATE: Please read as it is very important - I prefer men that are sized proportionately, not that you have to be built like Mr. Clean but, I'm not into overweight men. If you can't see your toes while standing up straight, you're not my type. Also, I DO NOT date black men. I DO still believe there is someone out there for me and isn't afraid to show it. I have a great group of friends but have yet to find that "special someone". I am very outgoing, fun loving, compassionate, warm, & ROMANTIC. I like everything from concerts to gardening, traveling, and BOATING! And yes there is such a thing as a girl that actually likes action movies, power tools, and cars. I love rain storms, huge snowflakes, and lying on the beach looking up at the moon & stars. I’ve been involved with charities and can go from black tie and champagne, to jeans and a beer. I'm more of a t-shirt and ponytail kinda girl but, give me a reason to wear that little black dress! I love dressing up! I want the man I am with to feel proud to be by my side and vice-versa. I take a lot of pride in my appearance. I am responsible, down to earth, funny, sarcastic & silly. I still believe in love and passion, holding hands, and public displays of affection. I feel if you're in love and happy, there's no shame in showing it! (As long as it's not to the point of mauling! Lol!) I like dining out, or cooking at home, (hopefully you're a good cook!! I'll prep & clean) with that someone special! A fire, a good bottle of wine, and intelligent or witty conversation sounds like a pretty good evening to me! The question is, does it to you?????When I'm dating I want to spend time with that person. I do not work an 8- I love music! All kinds except classical and I LOVE to dance. It would be AWESOME if you did too!!!What peaks my interest? A man that is strong yet can be tender, capable & caring, and not afraid to show how they feel. Someone that is NOT afraid to wrap you up in their arms and just be a shelter from everything for just a bit. I like a good sense of humor, whether dry or outright silly. He's got to love to laugh! I'd like to find someone special that is honest, forthright, passionate, diverse. All this is kind of a wish list, there are so many combinations that can be appealing. Any place we can sit and talk for a while.

I am a mother of two...a 19 year old girl (who I am sooo ready to choke half the time lol)...who is at Ball State now ..and a 10 year old boy (who is a typical boy! And is in every sport)...I have a very demanding job, and work crazy hours, but I try to find a balance to enjoy life. I enjoy hanging out with my kids.....so I go to lots of games!). I love getting a break from life and going out with the girls to dance the night away too. I enjoy taking road trips to the Riverboat(even better on a Harley in the fall!) or just a weekend getaway somewhere to refocus. My family is big and awesome! We do lots of things together: camping, vacations to the beach, cookouts, etc..I love my family very much!; however, I do love to go fishing! I love our COLTS! But my true passion is basketball...playing and watching. I'm a huge animal lover...especially my golden retriever! I love most music...just depends on my mood, and on occassion, after a few drinks, I believe I can sing too...LOL! I would love to meet a man that is finally on the same page...no games...no drama...just honest and respectful about what they really want and expect...easy going and fun!I am very independent; therefore, I'm not into being clingy or jealous (thats a waste of energy!) I truly believe that when you're in a relationship, that each person needs their own separate private time...whether its going out with the girls or taking a weekend motorcycle trip with the boys...and each person needs to be supportive of that time. I'm one of those girls that when I say "sure! go have a good time"...I actually mean it..LOL! I love to go out and have fun, but can be just as happy hanging at home with a fire and a movie. I've never been a big "dater", but the last 7 years I have focused on me, my job, and my kids... so I thought if I meet someone I really click with that would be great...if not, then, at the very least, I have met a new friend in the process! A first date? Wow! It's always good to do something fun and laid back. A comedy club, or a concert? I would personally prefer a sporting event...Colts Game (love the Colts!)...or any basketball games. Just a fun time with no pressure to get to know each other.
