A low maintenance, quirky, girl, I've been described as a cross between a tom-boy and a diva (sans drama). Re-editing my thoughts is something that I have become accustom to, they seem to flow too much sometimes ;-) . . . Generally, I graze for healthy food when I eat, but greatly admire and respect someone who is comfortable in the kitchen, where I really want to help. Transparency . . . is a characteristic that I try to live by . . . and I seek transparency both in some of the fabrics I choose to wear and in terms of relationship communication and self-reflection. It seems that if transparency erodes, trust may follow. I will never be a know it all, as there is way SO much more to learn. Materialism turns me off . . . doesn't impress me, nor does mainstream, pop-culture. In-the-moment, hear and now, truth are more of a turn-on for me. I appreciate those who would rather struggle in weird obscurity, than compromise their own personal or artistic dreams. I like movies, action, adventure, sci-fi, not into horror - they give me nightmares. lol I don't have any tatoos - although if you do that's ok. I could never decide which one I liked above all others and where it should go. So I'm still thinking...I like traveling. I was in the Air Force as a young adult from ***thru ***, 4 years and 8 months.- I would like to say that I can travel at a moments notice but I can't - due to my job I have to plan ahead. I love the warm tropical times of the year. I like most kinds of music. I like to dance, when I do housework, lol. My friends would describe me as dependable, hard working, funny and a good friend. If I can make you laugh, all the better!. I know most people say that they have a sense of humor, but my friends tell me I'm funny, really!I like sports, I like to participate more than watch. Although my sister is very knowledgeable about football and basketball so when playoffs or the superbowl is on, I watch a couple of games so we can have something to talk about.. I have gone to flat track races, superbike races, nascar and nhra. I took a flat track class Dec 09 and had a blast! I like riding my motorcycle, I would not consider myself a 'biker'. My parents rode motorcycles and I've grown up with them. I really drove a replica indy car - it was a rush and I loved it, I wish I could have gone faster. I'm not a perfect body type, I've lived life, had kids (two).I work on my home, yard work and whatever I think I can handle. I'm not afraid of work and don't mind getting dirty as long as I can take a long hot shower! I like architecture and history - and how things work. I am curious about a lot of things and hope I never feel like I know it all! - I love seeing my grandkids looks of wonder on their faces when something catches their eye. I still believe in romance and love. I just got back on line after a couple of years. will post a new pic soon. hair is a lot longer, not much else different, same eye color. my first date would be over coffee/tea, talking about what we like to do. Maybe movies we've seen or books we've read, or things we want to do. Watching for a spark, and taking it from there...
