I'm a very positive person who enjoys life on a daily basis. I feel very fortunate to have my health, a job I love, amazing children and great friends. I am a Registered Nurse and have 3 children. My two oldest children have graduated from college and are in long term relationships. My youngest child is starting her senior year of college. I don't have grandchildren yet, I do have granddogs. Although, I really miss my kids, I feel it's time for me to enjoy the next phase of my life. I'm very active and have a great group of friends I socialize with regularly. However, even though I'm happy, I feel like something is missing. I am missing that special man to share my life with. I am an attractive, outgoing, intelligent woman, but find it hard to meet people for dating. I prefer to not date people I work with. I enjoy boating, fishing, and scuba diving. I'm a real animal lover and have one small dog. My favorite food is pizza. Looks are not everything, but for me the initial physical attraction and chemistry is important. I am 5'2, 120lbs with long, blond hair and green eyes. It's ok to be a coach potato once in a while, but I prefer doing things. Whether it be a game of darts or a simple a walk on the beach, it doesn't matter what you do, it about who you're with.The majority of my career has been in Emergency Nursing. I am a RN and Paramedic. One of my favorite jobs in my career was working on a Medivac helicopter. I worked on the helicopter for six years, it was a great job! Currently, I am working at a local hospital as a Site Administrator. I have a great schedule! I work three 12 hour shifts a week. Although I am required to work some weekends and holidays, it's worth having the extra 4 days off. I feel fortunate to have a career I still love after 25 years. A couple of my favorite sayings are; "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away" and "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain". I would like the first date to be a casual meeting, somewhere on the water, enjoying a nice glass of Chardonnay. This would give us a chance to talk and get to know each other better.

Am I asking for too much? LolPlays well with others and enjoys all of the above metioned activites plus. Music is all good.... not really into heavy metal...time for a change. My children (both grown adults), family and good friends are a very important part of my life.Don't let my age fool you... I am no where near dead yet! And yes.. these pictures are all fairly recent and I DO look just like them... no surprises! I am an easy going, positive, energetic, independent, adventurous person that likes to enjoy life and make the best out of any situation. I have traveled extensively in the US and some in Europe, am always looking for somewhere new to go and love to fly, which works out well since I work for a major airline. No, I am neither a Flight Attendant or Pilot. I do not have a ***Monday thru Friday job.... that just does not fit my personality and seems to be a deal breaker for some. The advatage to this is, I tend to have quite a bit of flexability. Love to take spontaneous trips at any given time...never know where I will take off to at the spur of the moment and have no problem doing so by myself if no one else is interested. I truly do believe that every day is a gift and I try not to waste one of them.I consider myself adaptable and am willing to try pretty much anything once. I am as comfortable in torn jeans, a t-shirt and bare feet as I am in a stunning black dress and heels.... I clean up pretty well.!... lol I do enjoy my quiet time, but need someone that doesn't like to let too much grass grow under his feet and can handle a little bit of a wild side. I can enjoy a gourmet dinner and a martini as much as pizza and beer. I am not afraid to work or play hard and get dirt under my nails, buy my nails are always polished. I take care of myself, exercise and eat right... but "diet" is not in my vocabulary. My body parts are all my own, nothing enhanced, altered or inflated... you get what you see. If you are "Ken" looking for "Barbie" .... that would not be me.I am looking for that special person who is on this site for the right reasons and wants to take the time to share and enjoy not only the adventures, but the simple, fun things in life. Someone that can think "outside the box" once in a while.....somewhat like myself..responsible, yet free spirited. My best friend and partner in crime.Honesty, respect, humor and a positive outlook in life are highest in my "character" expectations. Honesty and respect being the most important, along with open honest communication. I have found, sadly, that practicing these traits tends to be very intimidating to potential suitors (does anyone even use that word anymore?? lol) I want nothing to do with drama or game playing, as I am way under my 50 lb. bag limit and intend on keeping it that way. I will be honest with you, good or bad and I expect the same in return. I am not looking to change anyone or to be changed, only to enhance each others lives through mutual compromise. I am a sensitive, caring, loyal, giving person who wears her heart on her sleeve and is a hopeless romantic. I believe you should treat people as you would want to be treated.Sooooo if you're feeling up for a challenge, lol, give me a shout! I don't believe in *** and forth for weeks on end before meeting either. If you have to think about whether you want to meet for that long a period of time then I would have to surmise you really aren't that interested. I prefer to get to know someone face to face, even if in small increments.?!.......LOL. seriously though... anywhere that is good to be able to talk. A relaxed atmosphere, no pressure or expectations..... Doesn't really matter, I am pretty easily entertained. :)
