About Me

I enjoy spending time with my kids and watching them compete in their sports. Baseball is very big with my boys who are 16 and 18 yrs old, and it consumes most of my Spring and Summer. I follow them to as many of their local and away games as I can. I also enjoy hanging with my family and friends just to visit, laugh and/or goof around. I come from a family of 6 kids, so I am never without a place to visit, nor a sibling to laugh with. If you haven't already identified the theme here, it is that I whole heartedly appreciate a good laugh! I LOVE smart, witty banter between two people. I also enjoy being goofy when the time presents itself. Making people laugh is an art form I feel, and a true gift. I feel I have a good sense of humor. At least that is what I have been told, and I know I sure do laugh alot! Being a single mom, however, for the last 15 years has also given me the opportunity to express a more serious side. Knowing how to listen can gain you a wealth of knowledge as a parent. So, believe me, I try to listen just as much as I talk.I have found that it is important to say that my degree is in Psychology. I tend to think a bit differently than most. When I first meet someone, I tend to ask a lot of questions. I don't mean to be nosey or rude. It's just how my brain works. (It's like putting a puzzle together for some.) That's probably why I am good at my job, because I truly want to get to know a person, the real them. Please don't let this scare you off. After I do get to know someone, I will relax. I then tend to have a silly or sometimes naughty sense of humor. I probably should put on here what it is I'm attracted to. I love a beautiful smile, one that takes my breath away. I like an intelligent man who can hold an intelligent conversation and also make me laugh. As I said before, I LOVE smart, witty banter. It's a real turn on! Honesty and integrity are a must. As most on here have stated, we have a certain "type" that we are attracted to. Even though I am a curvy girl, I tend to be attracted to an average to athletic man. (It's just how my brain is wired.) I accept that I will not be every man's heart's desire. Once I have found that person, I will be very touchy-feely. I like showing affection. (This is the part my sons would put their hands over their ears. lol!) I love the way the beach looks and like walking there, but just not into sitting out in the sun out by the pool or the beach when it is ***degrees! I love doing it during the winter in S.9. I am disappointed when we assume the worst in another human without really knowing the real facts. We all do it and I strive to always assume the best, but perfect I am not.10. I have about a dozen pair of readers tucked away at home and the office because of the realization that my arms are no longer long enough.11. Some of my bad habits I should try to ditch are too much salt, diet cokes and chewing ice. 12. If your tall though, don't let the mini concern you. It's been successfully tested by 6 foot 5 inch individuals and confirmed as an okay fit for even a tall person. If you're over 6'5" we'll take your car. :***.14. I am not a fan of reality TV for the most part. Big Bang Theory, House or Person of Interest might get me to stop in front of the TV, but it would never be the end of the world if I missed any television show.15. I love staying busy doing fun and interesting things with other people. I prefer to be a participant in life verses just an observer.16. I love doing the unexpected to help someone or to make them smile.
