A lot of girls will just say that they like video games to catch a boy's attention, but I actually enjoy video games and I'll never tell you that you play too many. When I get out of the house, I like to do different activities, such as swimming, biking, skating, and sometimes just go on a walk. I don't like to do these things alone, though, which is a big reason I've put on a few extra pounds. I would by no means say that I am fat, but I want to work hard to lose the weight I've gained since high school. I love camping and going on canoe/kayak trips. I will occasionally go out to bars with friends, especially if there's karaoke, but I don't drink very much. I love to sing, it's my favorite thing to do and I can be caught singing little snippets of songs throughout the day. I don't have one set interest in music, I'll listen to just about anything.Even though I have not been to college, I really want to become a high school teacher.I like to smile and laugh a LOT. I love cats, and I really want to be with someone who at least likes them. I'm okay with dogs, but they're not my favorite.I am the kind of girl who prefers cuddling and I LOVE hugs. I hug a LOT. I enjoy being affectionate with my significant other.I love to write and I will write often as ideas come to me. Hey!I am a fairly active person with a huge passion for sports. I love to play or watch most sports, and I am always up for going outdoors. Some of my favourite sports include soccer, hockey, field hockey, and also snowboarding. I have played all of them, and still do. I am a goalkeeper though in hockey, soccer, and field hockey actually, which I believe is by far the coolest position. Some other activities I enjoy are kayaking, windsurfing, running, hiking, and pretty much any sport in general. I absolutely love hockey and should probably throw it out there that I am a Leafs supporter as well! You have to be a hockey fan for sure because it is something I am pretty into! I am always up for snowboarding though once the winter hits, it is definitely one of my favourite past times and I love it! There is nothing else that can really take your mind off everything going on than your board and a snow covered hill. It's pretty therapeutic if you think about it, and anyone who is an avid rider like me would understand that. I guess you could call it "soul riding!" So if you're into hockey and snowboarding, (or skiing), I think we could get a long pretty well.I have a bachelor's degree in exercise science and I just finished another post-grad certificate before possibly going on to more school in the future. Not too sure yet what the future holds there, but I am open to seeing where this current path takes me. I really will listen to all types of music, but I would have to say that rock is probably one of my favourites if I could only pick one. I use to play some *** well, so I guess that is where the love for music really stems from. On the arts side still as well, writing is another thing I enjoy. Yes, I can write poetry...as much as people might laugh and undervalue that in today's society, but hey, it's actually a fun thing to do.I also love to travel and bake, although not the best cook! (But my baking makes up for it!***place I would love to go if I get the chance is New Zealand, simply because it is beautiful there, and honestly, I really want to snowboard there more than anything. I think the coolest thing to do would be to take a snowboarding trip around the world, (kind of like how people take those trips around the world, but this would involve snowboarding everywhere). Yes, it's kind of out there, but I can dream!) I love to have a good time and be out with my friends, but I actually prefer staying in than going out to the bar every weekend. I like just hanging out, watching movies, and even playing video games which I know might surprise some people out there.I am a pretty self-motivated person, and I really do value intelligence, a good sense of humour and a love for sports. I think more than anything you have to be able to understand that I don't have a normal 9am-5pm Monday-Friday schedule in my career, and you have to be someone who has a sense of adventure, loves snowboarding/skiing and hockey, and loves to be outdoors. I feel that they need to be independent and also know what they want in life, and someone who is confident. Spontaneous things are always great too. I would definitely rather start off doing fun stuff together, and then seeing where it goes from there. I'm not really into the whole, "let's go out partying every weekend; look at my many profile pictures I took in the bathroom; or look at me drinking a bottle of booze." To each their own, but that's not me.If you got this far in the reading of the above paragraphs, you would have figured out by now that if you plan to send me a message, I am hoping you enjoy many of the things I do above. I like it when people send longer messages than one or two sentences because it really shows more interest, and you will definitely grab my attention more!
