Hello Ladies,Im tall, average looks, polite, caring, intelligent and have a quirky sense of humor. I like wine tasting ( or more importantly... wine drinking... but who doesn't at our age...lol.. ), and I enjoy trying new things.I come from a large family, but unfortunately, i dont associate with them much... we have all gone different ways. I have 2 children ***& ***to parent who keep me plentyyyy busy....sometimes too busy... if you have teens you know what I mean. lol. Anyway, moving on.Speaking of simple and caring, I was coach Daddy for my childrens sports teams and more recently very active in my daughters Girl Scouts troop these past 3 years so i guess you could say i have a strong Nurturing side too. All in all, you can see that Im pretty busy.... as a single parent and caregiver.... and for those reasons I am trying to find happiness, friendship or love here with a woman who is ok with having a part-time relationship for now or hanging out or just dating.I hope to hear back soon.Gilbertps. This is an interesting question because dates are usually based on individual tastes but ok... let me try. Our first date would involve some Wine Tasting and then later that evening, Dinner.(Wow.. Im must be rusty, but that needs some work) ... Ok, wait, wait, since I live near a small airport that flies to large destinations I would have MY JET fueled and ready for takeoff by Saturday at 10am so we can have breakfast in the air on our way to.....hmm...... walk along the boardwalk while I shamelessly try to win you a large stuffed animal to impress you with, and then later to Dinner at....hmm, i know, ... the renowned full-;The Blue Bayou". After finishing a wonderful dinner we would sit in VIP seats next to my friend Pat T. Monahan, (lead singer-songwriter and musician for the band "Train") to watch an evening parade (because what date would be complete without a parade, LOL) while jokingly sing along with him to his song "50 Ways To Say Goodbye" Woohoo!! Wow!! That's got it all... much better, I like it.!

About me... I'm a computer scientist who wanted to be in the heart of the industry so I moved to the Silicon Valley and am in the top 1% of my field. But I also hike and backpack (CA has some great spots), I cycle and have spent weeks cycling through Europe and also on the CA coast. I give back financially on a regular basis, have supported several children in developing countries, sometimes serve dinners at homeless shelters, and have done the CA AIDS LifeCycle ride twice. About you ... You are curious and have a love of learning and enjoy deep philosophical discussions. You are healthy and care about staying in shape. You don't believe that great relationships just happen but invest in making it great. You are physically affectionate and love to cuddle. You are a complete person without me. You must love the outdoors.
