I think I can describe myself as old fashioned (but in a good way!) I am considerate of others, most always polite and usually have a smile on my face. Ever wonder why we try these dating sites? if youre like me, youre tired of, or were never in to the bar scene. Dating co. workers is a bad idea, and being set up by a friend or relative RARELY works out. Meeting pleasant. attractive, members of the opposite sex with common interests, goals, and good attitudes is what i think everyone wants... and I am no different. i am 50 yrs young, divorced father of two grown daughters. i have been employed with the city i live in for over 26 yrs. i consider myself fairly attractive. I work out, and try to stay in shape. I do drink couple times a week but i do not hang at the bars, grew out of that many years ago. I enjoy movies, love to laugh, quiet evenings, love music. play in a rock band on the weekends. i consider myself fairly liberal, however i do have my conservative side too. i am usually open to most points of view concerning politics, religion, and whatever the case may be. First dates are tough. some feel like a job interview at best, i prefer to go somewhere public, quiet, but not too reserved. a walk to a coffee shop or restaurant is always a nice way to break the ice with someone. afterwards maybe see a live band or just go somewhere and people watch..sometimes its better than cable.
