Who am I ? I'm a pretty laid back country boy at heart . I live by the water and enjoy a cottage lifestyle . I love being around the water or out boating . HiNow a 50 something guy still looking......... You’ll find me to be an honest, straight forward down-to-earth type of person. I have a dry wit and can pretty funny at times, so if you’re looking for someone who can make you laugh I have my moments. The type of women I like is someone who is independent, smart and is the low maintenance type. The attraction part goes without saying and that it needs to be on both sides. I’ve roller bladed, played hockey, golfed, skied, rode horses (and been thrown off once) and lots of other out doorsy stuff, I’ll try most things.I have been to the theatre, dinner theatre and concerts which I enjoy very much, movies, walks in the park or on the boardwalk are all great. Engaging in a good conversation on current affairs, whether it be economics or politics is always fun. I can hold up my end on alot of subjects so there may be more to me then meets the eye. Looking for a woman that enjoys the simpler things in Life.Life to me is about learning new adventures and sharing the knowledge learned ....I like trying to keep a somewhat active lifestyle, soin the summer months it can include camping, kayaking ,and hiking or bike riding,swimming at the lake,also country drives to nowhere,even walking in the summer rain. Most activities I like to do are around the water.Just relaxing at home watching a funny movie or playing backgammon or other board games ,vegetable gardening , learning to cook and even dancing.I also enjoy woodworking , and home renovations. In the winter months I slow down a bit , and that can include cross country skiing , tobogganing and indoor swimming .I'd rather be outside doing anything when the weather is nice .I also enjoy going out to craft shows, county fairs, art shows, museums or just a relaxing, or just great conversation.I'm pet friendly, I have owned dogs most of my life, but I am without any dogs now.I'm self sufficient, I have my own life , just looking to share some time with someone else. I enjoy sitting out on a patio, just people watching.I love to be constantly experiencing new and different cultures and learning new things .I'm very open to trying just about anything .Some of my past hobbies have included downhill skiing,water skiing,scuba diving, boating .Very family oriented, and still talk or see them almost daily.I have a good quirky sense of humor .
