At the age of ten, I was whisked away to Crooklyn, which at the time, believe it or not, was nothing more than a sprawl of urban decay. I will never forget the graffiti tattooed trains, the gaggles of hoods, the racial tensions, and Times Square--with harsh Technicolor primary colored lights pointing to a peep shows or some other carnal plesuredomes. To escape, I turned to homegrown counter culture movements but alas, today I hold a respectable job, working for the man and being the man to others.
