About Me

I’m a guy, so I have no more than two pillows on my bed at any given time. However, I can gather the other eight pillows I own and fashion a cool pillow fort where we can hide when it storms. You can bring the ‘Nilla wafers. I realize my pictures make me appear more serious than I really am. I have a selfie with an inflatable dragon in front of Walmart. Yep, I’m that goofy. I need to state this now, so I don’t waste anyone’s time: I’m a conservative Christian who proudly believes in God, family/friends, freedom, and our country. I’m a lifelong learner, a voracious reader, an Appalachian State University alumnus (class of ***, and a veteran high school science teacher. I love music and have been lead singer/keyboard player in various bands since the ***s. My family has a vacation home in Murrells Inlet, SC, and it’s perfect for quick getaways and for beach therapy. I love any sort of live music and the MarshWalk there has live bands in every restaurant most every night. I'm not a "good ole boy" or a Bubba and I'm not into NASCAR, any sort of racing, professional wrestling, monster trucks, four-wheeling, hunting, etc. I've never done the "bar or club scene" except when I was the musical entertainment in cover bands there. I love to travel and explore new places. My two grown sons are living on their own.
