I am shy to start with but i i come around quickly, i like to joke around a lot and am extremely sarcastic so i really don't take offence to much. I make friends easily and am fairly happy go lucky! As far as what i am looking for... I have no clue - someone who takes care of them self is a start, having some kind of direction in life is a good thing.Hobbies and interests are essentially negotiable - i don't like soccer, you might, is it a deal breaker? No - I like CFL, the joke of football, so we're even, they are compromises, i don't want to date me or find me in a male version, life would get boring incredibly quick and i'd never try anything new.I don't cook, I clean too much however my car is a nuclear disaster, I have very little time in a day on purpose as I like to keep busy, I'm involved with ringette and softball, work two jobs, and when I get hooked on a TV program I sit in the house and hermit for three days until I've finished every episode! I can be a girly girl or one of the guys depending on my surroundings.Tattoos and scruff are my thing, not a must but definitely a bonus! GTL, need not apply, not interested! Anything you want to know, just ask! Anything simple, coffee or a beer works for me!

Soo...I'm an English teacher. A pretty stereotypical one, too: book nerd, grammar nazi, post-it hoarder, red pen connoisseur, owner of a ridiculous number of cardigans. My job is super important to me (and really time-consuming/exhausting) but I'm trying to find the right balance between being a great educator and having an actual life outside the building. Two deal-breakers right out of the gate (sorry for going negative so early in the campaign...) but because of my job I don't have much patience for grown men who act like the teenagers I spend all day around, and I will judge you for bad grammar. I can't help it. (Sorry?) However, I promise I'm not anti-fun - part of my job is entertaining kids all day and I have a sarcastic, dorky, silly sense of humor. I have a pretty deep well of Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies jokes, and I love a bad pun. Anywho. Family is very important to me. We're freakishly functional and very close. My parents have been together for over three decades and they're an inspiration in all kinds of ways. I'm also pretty proud to say I'm building up a good network of friends up here - I'm most definitely an introvert, so making friends isn't the easiest for me, but I've stumbled into a great group and I couldn't be happier about that. I love history, music, going to plays and museums, stuff like that. I'm up for exploring, love road trips and travel in general, but I also enjoy just relaxing and hanging out. I'm looking for someone who's easy to talk to, kind, generous, smart and funny. Are you that somebody? (Ugh, that sounded cheesy. Whatever.) Hi. I'd love to go somewhere subdued and laid back (crowded and noisy clubs/bars are what hell is like, I'm pretty sure) where a good conversation can take place. A stroll around town is great, as is a picnic, going to a museum, historical walking tours, wine tastings, stuff like that is my favorite.

I love exploring, being curious and learning new things..I have a great dog that has seen the goofy, the silly, the creative and the bizarre that makes me who I am!!. I'm happiest on the water in a canoe, camping, cooking yummy meals or watching movies. My taste in music is vast and nonsensical...but I love a great guitar!! I really enjoy playing disc golf...that does not however mean I'm good at it ( not terrible though!!!!)I am Irish, love all things Celtic, classic cars, art and ***'s pinup. Rainy nights make me happy and the fall is my favorite season.I'm independent, love things that are random and appreciate the unique. Really? Can't this just come organically?
