this part is like the fine print that no one ever reads, right??i m at a loss to define myself in a paragraph or two...i m very diverse and have many interest...i have always been a deep and philosophical person and have drawn my own conclusions about myself and the world around me...of course that is always subject to change...i believe in always learning and moving forward...that you should try to be better every day and never stop exploring everything...that being said, i am quite proud of the man i have becomei try not to take things too seriously...rather i dont stress over every little thing...if something is wrong then fix it and move on...no big deal...i also believe in seeing the positive in everything....especially the bad...and you can learn from everything...especially the bad....loli like to laugh and i am pretty witty...people dont laugh enough...enjoy it....whatever it is...you may never get to do it again....guess this goes along with not stressing over things...i just dont see problems as huge insurmountable objects anymore...see whats wrong, laugh at it and make it better....rinse wash repeat as neededi am a romantic and love affection ...holding hands, kissing, cuddling, etc...i believe in showing and telling someone how you feel about them.....and treating them with honesty and integrity...i believe that two people should know each other and build their relationship...trust, respect, openness, support....all things that should be part of that....people seem to forget those things it seemsi do have 3 children, though none live with me...my oldest is 20, the youngest is 4...and i think it goes without saying that i love my babies more than life itself :)so, that is a little about me...very little actually, but its a start....happy to tell you more if you want to know Seems like this depends on the person and situation. The full story:I’m a creative type. I’m a full-time artist for the video games industry and in my spare time I make all sorts of things. I was a tattooist for many years but I reached my rose/skull/Tasmanian Devil quota and had to retire as per union rules. Now I spend my days in an office leading a team of character artists for the video games industry. Occasionally I actually get to contribute a piece of art myself. Managing artists is like herding cats, but artists aren't as cuddly. It's a great job though, and I truly enjoy what I do. There’s nothing better than getting paid for doing something you love. And contrary to popular belief, making video games does not mean that I sit around and play games all day (although I do have to “research” occasionally). Ultimately, though, I’d like to start my own business making unique functional art. I love to spend my weekends in my garage getting my hands dirty carving wood, or molding epoxy, or melting metal with a torch! I never lost that childhood fascination with fire, now I’m just smart enough to use the proper safety equipment (usually!). I get a lot of satisfaction from making something cool and useful with my own two hands that I could never have found at a store. It’s always great when someone says “wow, that’s awesome, where did you get it”, and I can proudly say that I made it myself.When I’m not in front of my computer or working in the garage, I like to do the "normal" I’m pretty easy to please. As long as I have good company I’m happy just about anywhere. I still dig just taking off into the woods and finding things to play with.One thing that I would love to do, but I haven’t done enough of, is travel. We didn’t have much money when I was growing up so our family rarely ever took vacations. So unfortunately, now that I’m financially capable, I never really think about scheduling a trip. Perhaps I need a really great girl to give me some incentive! But it can’’t be spontaneous, perhaps Japan, sh*t I’ll shut up before I ruin all the good locations. Where do you think we should go?I've got a pretty dry, sarcastic sense of humor, but not in a pissy British way ;) (sorry British people). I try to enjoy life no matter what I'm doing. I have to admit that I take a little bit of pleasure in pushing people just slightly beyond their comfort zone. But I take as well as I give. I can and will make jokes about anything/everything. If you're easily offended you probably want to look elsewhere. I figure if something sucks it can only get better if you can laugh at it and if something is awesome it can only get better if you can laugh at it.I’m honest and loyal; I don’t cheat… EVER… and never… once I've given my word I keep it... no matter what. I'm 38 and never been married and have no kids. (Red flag! Red flag!) No, I've just chosen to not get married to the wrong person. I don't need a girl to make me happy or feel complete, but it is better to share fun times with someone special. I'd ultimately like to meet a trustworthy girl with integrity, intelligence, and a great sense of humor. All those things we all want. Humility and not taking yourself too seriously goes a long way. I prefer not taking everything too serious and enjoy living life. Of course I'm required to be serious at work. (rules, rules, rules) I believe honesty and communication are the most important things in a relationship.I don't really care if you know much about sports or are a sports fan. But if you don't want to go to a sporting event with me and at least enjoy the atmosphere and spending time together, then that's a bummer. Whether you know the difference between a touchdown or a touchback doesn't matter to me. Please know the difference between 'their' 'there' and 'they're' or we're not going to be a good fit. I'm not a partier but do drink socially. I don't care if someone else drinks (within reason). I graduated from UNC so I'm definitely a Tarheel fan. I'm also a Panthers fan (yeah, I get it, we're not that great) and like going to games. I love the atmosphere,energy, and tailgating. I also love any live music, movies, random weekend trips, wine bars, trying new restaurants, my niece and nephew, anything near the water, grilling out, and pretty much anything outdoors. I'm not a couch potato at all, but I do like renting a movie and staying home...especially with good company.Other than that, I guess I'm like everyone else on here - looking to see what's out there and maybe meet someone I have potential with. Lots of options for a first date. We can chat and make a plan and hope for the ever elusive chemistry and connection.
