I am an unrepentant nerd.My friends describe me as extremely dependable and a bit of an encyclopedia. (I know an absurd amount of random facts. For example, porcupines fart.)Lately I've acquired the habit of picking goals and just bull rushing them down until I accomplish them. This new groove has lead me to getting a great job, running a 5k without stopping (even after having heart surgery when I was younger,) learning to cook some pretty awesome dishes (salmon is great with everything,) and even knocking my weight down eight belt notches (yes I am measuring progress in belt notches.) and serially dutch ovening. This approach has shown me just how amazing life can be if you just shut up that voice in the back of your head and go for it. I call it "Classy as **** in Trashy Places" (TM). The basic operating principle is that we dress up ridiculously nice (I will be breaking out a three piece suit. You're just going to have to find a way to compete with that) and just go out and paint the town red. We go to random places where that level of dress is rather... unanticipated; bowling alleys, dive bars, waffle house, walmart, and just do random silly stuff.Or skydiving. Also want to do that.
