Hey there! thanks for getting this far and not stopping at the pics :) i look forward to meeting new people on here, i am open minded and would just like to get to know someone and see where it goes, however with the intent and purpose of finding that special someone, so please move past if you are fishing for something different! ;) SO i suppose i should share a but about me.... I'm very outgoing and ambitious and like to stay active in life. It's not important to me to share the exact same interests as someone, in fact i like expanding my interests. I am looking for someone who can enjoy life and appreciate what they've been blessed with. Someone who is self motivated, trusting, and honest. I like to stay busy. Play volleyball and softball a ton in the summer and indoor vb in the winter. Love the outdoors, travelling, and photography. Feel free to ask more! Please when sending a message for the first time include something unique about my profile or something to indicate that your message is not just merely a "copy and paste" to every girl. thanks! Up for ideas, but like to have it be pretty low key and relaxed. Somewhere we can allow for conversation. Dinner, mini golf, bowling, or a simple walk. I like creativity and doing new things, even if its just for coffee i enjoy meeting new people.

I'm a librarian, but I'm also outgoing, fun, spontaneous when you least expect it, socially active, and have a overall positive outlook on life. I'm also usually the person who makes a fool of themselves in a room of quiet people that don't know each other well to break the ice. I don't work in a public library (and probably never will***I'm actually a librarian on Bay Street and am loving the opportunities and challenges that my career provides on a daily basis! How am I not a stereotypical librarian? I very rarely wear cardigans but do wear blazers and suit jackets regularly at work, am pretty outgoing (though sometimes soft spoken unintentionally), love concerts and seriously rocking out to good music, can drink most of my librarian friends under the table, most of the shoes I own are not "practical", I'm busy most week day evenings between social and professional activities, lived in St. I do not know how to knit or crochet, I don't wear glasses (anymore - laser eye surgery about 5 years ago), and I never shush people; I'm probably the loudest person in our little library. I'm also pretty darned technology proficient, though this is becoming more common for librarians. Yes, I do have a cat and love to read. I'll give you that!I'm here because: I'm looking for someone who enjoys great conversations and debates, is supportive of a hard working and career driven woman, is confident and responsible, and has both personal and professional goals for himself. I'm also looking for someone who strives for a balanced life between work, personal time, and time with family and friends. I realize that that's a high order, but what's really important to me is effort and open communication in a relationship. I'm also a big fan of those who get out and see the world, whether it's travelling or taking advantage of events and activities around the city.If you're still looking for more about me:My "Chemistry Results" pretty much nailed it with noting that I "work and play hard". In a nutshell: I'm very organized, know what I want and go after it, and often get straight to the point in expressing myself or assessing a situation while being diplomatic.Top descriptors of my personality from good friends who know me well: Ambitious, Rational, Thoughtful, GenuineIf you're into the StrengthFinder 2.I love music and appreciate a wide variety of genres and artists, however, all time favourite band is New Order (and Joy Division, of course).;..TV watching is limited, but I do have a few favourite shows: Murdoch Mysteries, Bones, and Blue Bloods. I also really enjoy Big Bang Theory and have recently started watching Orange is the New Black.---Please note: single word or "what's up" type messages are deleted immediately. I put thought and effort into writing this so you can put some thought and effort into sending me a full sentence or two. Preferably a question. Or two. A first date with someone met on here would be a meet- That said, I'd definitely be open to other ideas.

Now I'm back in the mitten and looking to meet some new people and settle back in. I love being creative and making things. I love being outside and active. I love sports. I love my dog Tiki Bob. I love spending time with friends. I love to read. I love to travel. And I love a challenge. First date is always a hard one. You can play it safe and have dinner and conversation. Or you can mix it up and take in a baseball game, putt-putting, picnic at a park, ice skating, etc. The first date is all about first impressions and starting to get to know a person. I don't think it matters so much where you go, but more how you interact. The best advice is always just to be yourself and see what happens.
