Hi. Thank you for taking time to read my profile! I've never been good at "sales", so I find it difficult to sell my attributes to make you want to "pick me". I am just that... ME. I'm a positive women who, like everyone, enjoys a great laugh and good company. I think I am just the right mix of being a good to go girl and a homebody. I am smart, sensitive, romantic, and funny, but with a dry sense of humor. I am the first one to make fun of myself, but you are fair game too!I am very much a girly girl. As you can see from my photos, I change my hair color and style frequently. I tend to go toward the edgy side, but I still try to look pretty. Today, my hair is dark brown . Tomorrow, who knows? lol If you are looking for Plain Jane, I'm not the woman for you. I like to dress nice, but by no means am I materialistic. And I really do look better than my pictures. Sadly, I'm just not that photogenic. :0/I enjoy cooking and entertaining. Gardening is a really rewarding hobby that I love. Going out to my garden and picking lettuce for a salad and broccoli or cauliflower for dinner is such a satisfying "fruit" of labor. I like to eat healthy and I take care of myself. I think by doing so, it makes me look and feel younger than my true age. I am in good shape and I am looking forward to longer days so my daughter and I can start our boot camp classes in the park. I am not an "outdoorsy" girl. If you like to hike, and climb rocks, good for you! That will be your thing on days when I do my thing!I love, love, love animals. (EXCEPT SNAKES) I have 2 dogs that I love with all my heart, so it's best the man in my life love dogs too. I am the proud mom of a grown daughter and a grandmother of an amazing 10 year old granddaughter. Ok, you have come this far, so here is what I am looking for in My Guy...It's my goal to meet a man that compliments my life and I his. I don't mean to be rude, but I'm not attracted to overweight guys or men who are not up front about their age. I am looking for a man that is handsome, tall, smart, active and is secure and NOT the jealous type. You should know the difference between "your" and "you're". "A day without laughter is a day wasted." - I'm ready to enjoy life again. I admit, I've kept to myself a bit because I have lots of responsibilities, but now I realize it's time to do some things for myself. I do enough things by myself - reading, walking my dog, late night Netflix, etc. - now I want to do things with that special someone, too. I like to be outside. I enjoy being in the sun, listening to live music, watching my children play sports, going to professional sporting events, hanging out with friends, and, believe it or not, I enjoy my job. I like a wide variety of music, but I'm not a fan of rap. I'll listen to country music when coerced, but the old music my dad listened to when I was a kid is preferred to the newer country music I seem to be subjected to these days by my friends and kids. My radio in the car is preset to Jack FM. I must warn you, I sing along with every song whether I know the words or not. I may dance around a lot, too. I can't help it. Music makes me happy.I especially love to travel. Being a teacher and a single mother doesn't give me a lot of extra money to travel, but I manage at least a few little trips each year. All were a blast! I don't like to travel alone, so finding someone who also enjoys traveling is a must. It was beautiful, historical, cultural, and had great beer! On my dates, I do expect good conversation. Is that really too much to ask for? My friends promise me I am good at keeping the conversations alive, but some of my past dates have been painful! So, if you are so much of an introvert that you can't carry on a conversation, please do not respond. I am a bright, educated women, but I do not want to discuss politics and world events, either. I am a practicing Catholic, so if you have issues with my Christian faith, don't stop here. We can also rule out those who don't like dogs or kids. I have both and love them! Who, then, am I looking for? I want someone with a personality! Please make me laugh and want to be around you. I don't want someone who puts down others to build themselves up. I enjoy men who can be romantic, but it's not required - just appreciated. I want someone who is employed and doesn't need me to take care of them financially. A man who takes initiative is appealing to me. I don't want a clingy, needy man, but a man who is respectful, loving, and supportive is attractive to me. I like to hold hands in public - touching is important to me. Snuggling? YES! I sit at home enough as it is, I want someone who wants to take me out! Mostly, I am looking for that one guy who wants to be with ME - the one who finds me irresistible. He makes me think of him ***. He has to be out there somewhere...I don't initiate contact with men.
