I'll probably look back at this first dating profile someday and laugh. Well, I have been on my own for a very long time. I really miss the affection that a relationship with a man can give. I like men a lot, and would like to spend sometime with one again :-) Please note I wrote one,...I'm not really interested in making up for lost time by dating a lot of men. Just one nice guy will suit me just fine. Because my children are grown, I think I'd prefer my partner to have their kids well on their way to adulthood. But I am somewhat open to that. My passions....life, love, music, art. I am a romantic at heart. I enjoy running, playing guitar, live bands, painting, bike riding. I would like to go camping and canoeing this summer. My family is very important to me, without them things would be messed up. The last few years things have been very challenging for my daughter and me emotionally. My family gave me the best support anyone could receive. For that I am grateful to have such a wonderful family. As I said before, I don't expect to find Mr. Perfect but it would be nice to find a person who is for real. When I re-read what I put, it sounded like I was pissed. Maybe I was. I don't like to play head games and it seems that alot of men like to do that. I do wish you all luck in your search. Do be careful though, not everyone is as honest as I am. The first date is always the hardest!! Something easy and simple works for me. I like good conversation and laughing. Those are two of the best things in life.
