I am content, no, HAPPY, with my life. I am grateful for my many blessings. Would like to share that with someone, but it is not a requirement for my happiness. I believe in companionship. True friendship. Chemistry is critical... but friendship is the basis for something meaningful. Most people notice my positive outlook on life. It does not take much effort for me to find the silver lining in almost any situation. I appreciate a man for all the qualities I am not. I am not looking to find someone to change and fit into my ideal. I find life experience and personal growth make us who we are, or are not.I am a busy working mom with hobbies and interests, friends and family (some acquired along the way). I am not readily available, so I am not looking for a man who doesn’t fill his time with his own life, passions, friends and interests.The words “looking for my soulmate”…give me pause.The laws of attraction are complicated, so I do not take offense when a man does not consider me a match. I am open: if I do not see a connection, I move on.I am independent in that I can do it on my own (not always well, mind you) but I certainly welcome the idea of a partner in love and maybe, in life. Someone to walk with, so to speak. But one day at a time…I believe in living in the moment and not worrying, all that much, about the future. Not sure why this dating thing is so hard! It is a much slower way of life and I like it very much here. Just one thing missing. . . someone to share life with. Tired of being at home alone on the weekends. What am I looking for? I want that best friend in life, the one that you know you can do things with at any time, or do nothing with, someone to feel safe with and share the good times and all the bad times and the times in between. I'm easy going and will do just about anything, I like going to movies, concerts, festivals, traveling, I'd go to sporting events if I had someone to go with. While I do like getting dressed up on occasion, I prefer to keep it simple. The gym is a big part of my life, I lost over ***pounds about 5 years ago, and weight will always be an issue. I go to the gym at least 4 nights a week. I try to make that my priority above anything else, because I believe that we gotta take care of ourselves before we can take care of anyone else. Somewhere quiet where we can talk and get to know each other. Maybe a walk in the park. Something easy so we can both be comfortable.

I am out going with a very wide variety of interests and hobbies. Movies, dinner, dancing, concerts, live local music, camping, boating, fishing, hunting. I am completely comfortable in business attire or jeans and a sweatshirt. Heels or sneakers, whatever fits the occasion is fine.I have a strong sense of adventure and I am usually willing to try things once... or twice... I am outgoing and like to meet new people and always willing to broaden my circle of friends. Family is very important to me. I come from a large family and we are spread coast to coast. We still manage to make time to get together during the year for graduations, birthdays, holidays and a few other special occasions. He taught me to fish and hunt, was always willing to throw me on the back of his bike and take me for a ride and taught me that it's okay for a woman to be independent. He still rides 2 wheels, (might be a scooter), at almost 80 years old. I hope to have him with me for a lot more years.I am very career oriented and work is an important part of my life. That has allowed be to own my own home, car and still leave enough left for an occasional cruise, or a vacation or two. That does not mean that I don't have time and won't dedicate time to someone special to make a relationship work.I have one child at home still. He is a spoiled lab that thinks he is still a lap dog. He is awesome company though. The rest of my kids are all out of the house, but I seem to have a revolving door and they know that I am always there for them if the need arises. I listen to most music... But listen to classic rock and country the most. I am not in to rap. Coffee and go from there
