Been on here a couple of times in the past year and a half....originally thought I'd meet Mr Wonderful but after several meet & greets and dating, I have learned the dating world has changed....we all have changed...manners, morals, outlooks on life, letting go of past relationships, and open-mindedness.I'm really only interested in meeting those who have similar interest, mannerisms, and who are genuinely NICE and HONEST! I'm not into those who are hung up on vanity issues... It would be nice to meet someone who enjoys the same things as I and can relax and just have FUN without a mental checklist....someone who is laid back, not in an 'on again-off again relationship with someone, and also not stuck in the narrow-minded thinking there must be an immediate 'spark' or 'connection' when meeting someone. I'd consider myself lucky to find a man who is fun, honest and considerate of others....to hang out as friends and possibly grow to more. If I could live aywhere it would be in a cabin located just deep enough in the woods so that only the ones I want to find me could.The things I'm most grateful to have in my life are my children, I have three. Two that are grown, one y8r old wonderful suprise & a beautiful grandchild.The keys to a lasting relationship in my opinion are honesty, trust & love. I believe you need these in any relationship....Family, Friend or Love. You need to know that person is there for you through thick & thin, And that person needs to feel that from you as well. Good Luck on your journey of life, love & friendship****************************************************************************************************************************UPDATE : ***My profile has actually been hidden cause I had met someone and yes it was on here...We became best friends, then actually met in person fell in love & got engaged .....I still used the same values that I had ....He called me his (Angel) I told him he completed me....and he did, but God must have other plans ......for Dwayne was called to Heaven...He witnessed a wreck, stopped to see if he could help anyone....made it to the 1st car they were ok .so went to check on other vehicle..a pickup hydroplaned & hit him....They called him a" Good Samaritan "......To be honest he was a great man in every way .......I guess I wanted to share this with everyone on here to say "love" can happen again .......and yes the last thing we had said to each other was.... "I love you!" Again when u find that special one make sure u let them know how much u care.....Be safe & good luck!
