So the First Date could be anything from the "traditional" nice lunch or dinner out, or a picnic at the park with maybe some other activities included like horseback riding, bowling or something else fun, or it could even be more creative as long as it gives the two of us the opportunity to talk and get to know each other better. In other words, surprise me (in a good way of course)...lol.

A romantic at heart and a scientist by training, I'm considerate, flexible and pragmatic. My interests include literature (I'm an avid reader, especially of English authors and the classics), music, the culinary arts, science and languages. Tropical beaches are a favorite place for me. The person I am looking for should be flexible and not too rigid in their thinking (but please note that I am myself also very flexible and willing to make compromises). Chemistry is an absolutely crucial factor, and it could convince me to waive some (or many!) of my other criteria. Imagination and creativity would be a great plus in your favor, and it would be particularly nice if you are fond of literature. I would like to have a casual conversation on the first date - it would be nice if we could meet for a meal.
