Hello, I'm an old band guy. I played saxophone for a good number of years in high school and college marching band. Music is something I enjoy, both in listening and playing it. I like a lot of music, from rock to country to the 'hole in the wall' bands that no one else knows about. Games are an awesome way to interact with people and have fun. Video games are my current game of choice, but you can't beat a good board game or card game with good people. I am a reader. I prefer to read fantasy and science fiction, but I read a good bit other books. Ball Room dance is something I picked up in college. East Coast swing dance is one of my favorite styles. Dancing is a great way to get to know someone. A few other things about me include: I love what I do for a living. Caring for others is a calling that I have had. My faith is important to me. I enjoy spending time with friends, watching movies, and cooking. I'm not the neatest guy ever, but I take care of what I got. I'm someone who loves to have fun and I find enjoyment in most activities. I love to cook and have people enjoy the food I make. I am an accomplished mixologist so chances are I can make a delicious****ail with whatever liquor you prefer. Hockey is also a big part of my life. I played for 15 years and still try and take in a game a few times a season. My team is the NJ Devils and as a kid always dreamed of playing for them. Reality dictated i would be better served as a fan and in the past I have volunteered my time to coach youth hockey and want to do it again in the future. After hockey, my next passion became independent music in which I fully immersed myself and worked as a concert promoter, publicist, and tour manager. i retired from music after 11 years in the business but still support my friends who are still on the road. I try and make my way to the slopes a couple times a year to be sure I still know how to use my snowboard. Travel is also something I've enjoyed over the years. I have visited most of North America and also spent time in the islands, Europe and Israel. I also enjoy most forms of entertainment including theater, comedy, film and literature.My most distinguishable characteristic is my sense of humor. Its off beat and off color mixed in with a flare for the absurd. One friend summed it up best as describing me as "a filthy mind with a pure heart".When it comes to music, I'm all over the place. For me it depends on the setting and what I'm doing. I love punk, reggae, hip hop, jazz and the blues. Chances are something on our iPods will match. I love good food. No McDonalds first dates over here. So figure if we do go out, some form of food will be a part of it. Then I also like to do some sort of activity and finish it up with a****ail and good conversation. That's what I'm looking forward to most, meeting someone I genuinely like to hang out with and can feel just as comfortable partying as they are hanging home.
