Let's face it, I don't live the life of a rock-star or famous athlete ... but those guys are always getting caught cheating on their wives, so why would I want to live that life?It sure would make writing this more entertaining, and reading it would be much more fun too. I could tell you about all the exotic cities and expensive hotels I've stayed at while being on tour. All the parties, clubs, alcohol and drugs ... it would make for a much more interesting read.-star lifestyle would be fun, but I don't want to live that life and a girl that's looking for that is not for me. While my story might be Rolling Stone worthy, I do work hard, pay my bills, enjoy the company of my friends & family ... while enjoying myself like I was a rock-star on tour.Family and friends are most important to me in life. I've learned that money and opportunities come and go, but your friends and family are always there to help you when you need it. I hope one day I can pass down those qualities to a family of my own, and it's why I work so hard today.I fully don't expect you to message me, I guess if I was getting 20 or 30 messages a day from people I wouldn't have to. Unfortunately real, honest guys like me often get passed over because we don't stand out among the hundreds on here trying to find a date by auto-blasting e-mails they have stored up on a hard drive. But if you're one of the few that are reading this to actually meet someone you like, here are some of the things that make me unique;-reading my old textbooks for fun lol, Jason Aldean songs and cold beer, and I want to travel to every continent at some point in my life. I'm a career oriented guy living in a small-town about an hour from where i grew up. I don't know a whole lot of people in the area and would love to meet some like minded individuals. I work in Telecom/IT and love what I do for a living. My primary interests aside from work are home improvement, fine food & drinks, spending time with my puppy-dog, and learning new things.I enjoy several different musical genres mostly focusing on the different varieties of rock (RHCP, Incubus, Brand New, Anberlin) but also including sounds like classical & r&b. Not a huge fan of country or gangster rap but if its got a good sound too it you might find me enjoying it.I also despise most "reality" TV shows (seemed important)...I am a non-typical male in the following ways:---I'm not particularly interested in sports (if you are that's fine but don't expect me to get too excited about it***I don't talk sh*tand pick fights just because I've had a few drinks.---I don't drink beer (I love wine and enjoy a good mixed drink but beer is tooo bitter for me***I am not a hunter (although I'm an avid firearms enthusiast and have been known to hunt a time or two in the past it is not something i'm prepared to spend a great deal of time or money on)I'm sure there are several other things that set me apart from the pack those are the highlights. Food!
