Woman. 45 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 42-52
I guess I'm a "treehugger" why did they make me do that? Avid recycler would be better...I'd like to say that I am ridiculously optimistic and (almost always) wake up happy. I enjoy life, I eat healthy food and hope to go back to school to get my Master's degree in the next few years. I teach elementary school, which is demanding but fun. I used to travel but for now my focus is on work and home...I get to play more in the summer... I am very liberal-politically and spiritually, don't watch a lot of TV and get my news from NPR. I would love to find a man who helps motivate me to balance work and play, gets my wicked sense of humor and is emotionally/financially stable (at least relatively). Good chemistry is a must. I'm old enough to know what I like and still very much interested in adventures. I have an 8 year old son and a son who is ***grown and gone). They are the icing on the cake so it's important that the man I meet has a decent sense of family. I have high hopes but what the hell? Might as well put it out there... A good first date would be out for tea/coffee, dinner or a drink. I like movies, but not for a date. I would prefer to meet someone in a peaceful but public place.

I work with developmentally disabled adults. I love animals, movies, books, hanging out with friends, and riding my bike. I'm trying to learn to play the guitar. I love trying new things and going to places I've never been. I'm easygoing and open to all kinds of different activities. I really enjoy trying new restaurants and seeing live music.

Woman. 42 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.
Looking for: man. In age: 39-49
I really love meeting new people and making new friends. I can get along with nearly anyone, and enjoy conversations with old friends, co-workers, and new acquaintances on their lives, their goals and their every day happenings. Finding things to relate to with others seems to come naturally, and I often spend a good deal of time talking with people, unexpectedly, when these treasures surface.I love outdoor brunches and dinners, comfortable weather permitting, exploring nice beach towns, and browsing art & wine festivals.I'm looking for people who truly enjoy life, like themselves and others, and who are comfortable in their life choices, mistakes included. Yes, I've made my fair share of mistakes, as well.. Thankfully, they seem to have served me remarkably well in understanding life's imperfections and in pin-pointing certain attributes and experiences that make life more enjoyable.I'm hoping to find someone who has the greatest values: truth, honesty, friendship, mutual respect, devotion, passion, common sense and real sense of belonging together. Nobody is perfect, but there should be that drive and intention to live with pride and to love, honorably before trying to make something long term and meaningful.Someone who is willing to open and share their life over time, is a must. I wouldn't want to meet friends, families and kids in the first week, but it would have to be an option, in time, if it is to be something serious. My best first date includes comfortable, friendly conversation in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Communication is key. In getting to know a new person, I'm most at ease with someone who is engaging, talkative, and comfortable with themselves, who likes also to ask questions and is a good listener.
