I'm new in town and looking to meet new people, not necessarily for a romantic relationship, but I'm pretty open. My interests are varied; I play hockey, I love reading a good book, I'm into gardening, I want to travel, I'm a damn good cook and I'm absolutely love my job. I'm a very independent person, talking on the phone for hours or incessantly texting bullsh*t to a significant other isn't my thing...stage 5 clingers need not apply!I value intelligence and a good conversationalist; if your first message is "hiii" or "meet me", don't expect a positive response. Dinner dates suck as a first date, what's more awkward than sitting across the table from someone you don't know, watching them shovel food into their mouth (and them watching that half-masticated dead cow roll around in your own mouth) and play a crappy version of 21 questions? I hate talking about myself... Best first date would be doing something like playing pool over a pitcher of beer, or watching a hockey game (I'm going to cheer for the other team, just because a little friendly rivalry is way more fun), or best of all invite me for popcorn and a movie or some Game of Thrones and watch my geek side come out.

    Since I am not convinced these even get read let me start by saying this: All I want is a nice guy who doesn't talk about creepy things, solicit me for sex, is tall, witty, a good conversationalist, decent looking, fun and funny and likes dogs, football and traveling. Oh, and grammar. Please be able to spell, punctuate and differentiate between your and you're. I understand I'm looking for this on a sketchy website, but I have an open mind. In return, I have a lot to offer. Really, I do. I work really hard, but I know how to have a great time. My friends constantly turn to me to have a good laugh or pour their hearts outs. Call me versatile, if you will. I am a huge supporter of organ donation and animal rights. Working out isn't my life, but I love to run, do yoga and lift weights. I prefer comedies over dramas, Pepsi over Coke (but unsweetened iced tea over either), soup over salad, vacations over saving money (oops!), veggies over fruit, and dogs over cats.     ::insert cliche lines here:: Well it would be awesome to be surprised with something that is NOT stereotypical or cliche like dinner drinks movie or walk in the park j/s let's be imaginative and have some fun with this people..here's some options if u can't think of any on your own....going fishing with a cooler full of beer and snacks and if it went well maybe a bon fire and s'mores lol... Or something active or competitive like the batting cage or golfing range or go carts.. The gun range or horse back riding could be cool....See there's alot more to do than dinner and a movie and all my options are way more fun
