Woman. 44 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 41-51

Wow, What to say that others have not already said...I have many hobbies and interests. Please ask me. I have been married once, one child, have a stable job and personality. Fiscally responsible, avoid impulsive acts that show recklessness, love the Lord, am a Christian and spiritual beliefs are important to me. I'd like to meet someone with a similar background as me. I love being outdoors because I feel more peaceful. I do not watch that much TV at all. I don't care if you do. I like to go places at times and stay home at times I like a routine to some degree. I don't really go out at all (to clubs or bars) unless a special occasion. I don't like a bunch of drama when dating someone- for example: not taking care of your own children and neglecting them ( sad), the mother of your children showing up all the time( with or without the police) and causing trouble, etc. In closing, if you don't care of yourself and any children you have, please do not write. Family should be one of the most important things. If you are an alcoholic or drug user or have no steady job, no vehicle or if you are a dozen other dating/ explicit websites -- please do not write me. I am sure there is someone else out there for you.

That's right, it's a long profile.. Don't be lazy, fellas.Myself: Greek American, easygoing, family oriented, warm, generous, affectionate, smart, witty, serious but playful at times, analytical, stable, responsible and opinionated. I don't play games and don't have energy to be mysterious with you. Yes, I just turned 41 but most people can't believe it. I'm not judgemental of people, nor am I offended by a dirty joke. I'm really easy to talk to and people are very comfortable opening up to me. At first, I may be hard to read, or seemingly uninterested. I take in a lot of information and connect the dots later. I'm very intuitive and able to think logically and objectively on many things. I always seem to bounce back from disappointments. Nothing keeps me down. I'm extremely comfortable in my own skin and expect you to be in yours. I carry some hard-won lessons from life and have learned a great deal from them. While at times I may be very busy, I will make space in my life for a man who provides the right connection and shows a mutual interest. Let's just have fun and not complicate one another, shall we. Ha!Just looking for someone to spend some time with, start a friendship and hopefully it will lead into something more significant and exclusive. I hope to find someone for the long term through the process of dating but I'm not in a rush. We know these things are a bit more complicated when the chemistry, connection or timing is off. It doesn't happen overnight and I never force anything but the romantic in me keeps me going. Even though, I'm quite comfortable with my life the way it is, I still lack that special someone to share it all with and I would welcome the right person. There's so much in this world I'd like to explore with him. I'm very secure with myself and when I'm in the right relationship. I can be very supportive and encouraging while giving you space, without smothering you, allowing you to be independent. Ideally, I'm looking for someone that can provide the same in return. I don't believe in wasting months dating if there is no "true" connection on BOTH sides. I'm also a mother to a young boy from a previous marriage but I carry no luggage and I always make personal time for myself. He's a joy beyond words. No married men, tourists, workaholics, party animals, quick tempers or men with ADDD (Attention Deficit Dating Disorder). Please be within ***No quick sex fix. You can find your fix on Craigs List, not here. Stimulate my mind and heart first.***preferably.I reply selectively. Just very cautious and skeptical. Please have a photo and send more than a "hello" so I can feel you. Your profile and words should shine more than your pictures. I think that sums it up..... Funny, sensitive yet confident, down to earth, creative types win points. I prefer someone like myself, a single parent.Thank you and good luck in your search.-G- Usually, I like to exchange a couple of messages and maybe a phone conversation to start. We can both decide on the first date but it's the company that really matters and not the meeting place. A drink, coffee, a walk in the park or Dave and Busters? Don't laugh! I play a mean air hockey game. Ha!

I'm constantly bewildered by the cruel joke of heterosexuality. Why am I drawn to and attracted to the opposite sex when it appears that everything about us is, indeed, opposite? It seems that men are more suited to living with men, and women with women. So why are we trying to fit a square peg into a round hole (please pardon the pun as I believe I've just answered my own question while philosophizing). I am sort of a walking contradiction in that I love people but am sort of a loner. I'm a little bit country, but I'm also a little bit rock 'n' roll. I love to go for a long hike in the woods with my dogs, but when I get home I might blast some Radiohead or Pink Floyd... or Johnny Cash. Then there's big band music! So much to choose from...I like social gatherings but I'm more likely to enjoy doing something productive. Most of my hobbies entail solitude. Things like painting, writing (screenplays mostly), hiking, biking, hanging out with my dogs. Very dedicated to my dysfunctional family, as well. I'm not a huge fan of television but do like public TV and a few cable shows like "Curb Your Enthusiasm." I could watch that show for hours. Also like Mad Men and a guilty pleasure is "The Bachelor". I can be too serious/cynical about life sometimes but when my mind is free from worrying about my family, my friends and the planet, I can be a hell of a lot of fun! I love to laugh but I also can appreciate a peaceful Sunday morning drinking coffee, listening to music and reading the paper. (One stripper said that a raisin was once originally a pickle--I'm sorry, it's cruel but it makes me feel better about myself!) I'm a pescatarian and would prefer someone that's not big on eating meat. Also would love someone who is outdoorsy and more of a homebody than an adventurer.I've been told I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body. Maybe you should be a lesbian trapped in a man's body? First date should always be quick and painless, like ripping off a band-aid, just to see if there is chemistry. A quick dinner/drink or lunch is preferred. If we make it to the second date, I'd like to take a day trip to a city I've never been to before (provided I'm driving so you can't try to kidnap me, only to be seen again on milk cartons--Have you seen this girl?) and explore the local culture. Restaurants, shops, art museums, plays, etc. If the day goes well, the drive back home exchanging time on the iPods (which we'll bring on the first date, of course) should be titillating!
